Kerbey Lane was a fun brunch spot with both traditional favorites and unique options that I'd never seen anywhere else! They have a good mix of all-American, Tex-Mex, and more Euro-influenced dishes, so there's definitely something for everyone. My sister got the Migas with veggie chorizo (her go-to order), while I got the Texas Benedict. The Texas Benedict is super hearty, with a great flavor profile that combines slightly sweet cornbread with the saltiness of eggs, beef, and queso, with a little kiss of acid from the pico on top. The potatoes were very well seasoned -- no ketchup or hot sauce needed! I would definitely recommend the potatoes as your side, regardless of your entree. Kerbey Lane also stands out for having surprisingly reasonable prices in a field where a lot of brunches have gotten increasingly expensive. I really appreciate a good meal at a good price! Kerbey Lane may not be fancy, but it knows what it's about and does brunch well.

Whenever we go to Austin we always plan one meal at Kerbey Lane! Great options for everyone- vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, keto, low fat... you can find something! We look forward to their gluten free pancakes and vegan queso- delicious!

Food was very delectable but service was unbelievably horrible. Me and my wife were excited to try Kerbey Lane but clearly we chose the worst location. We are sad that our romantic weekend outing had to be heavily affected by such oblivious and careless staff members. It was not even busy only 2 other families here at the time but we were ignored our entire dinner and were never given water after requesting for it 4 times. waiter finally acknowledged us by slapping down a check which was not even accurate to our order. upside is we recieved a full refund but only after 20 minutes of waiting one last time to receive a water. Cheers!

Jolene was amazing! I wasn’t going to leave a review at first but I couldn’t let her great service go unmentioned! She is so personable and made my experience so wonderful. She is what the Austin vibe is all about. I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Quiet atmosphere and stellar service with AMAZING pancakes.Definitely recommend asking for Jolene if you’re looking for great conversation and personalized service!

I always expect good food at Kerbey lane. Their quesos are out of this world. And I've never been disappointed.

Being from the east coast, this was my first visit here and I was pleased. Took our family of five and arrived at 1 PM . We had called ahead to get on the wait list as there is often a line during busy times, and we got right in. Pleasant efficient staff got our orders quickly and everything was correct as ordered. Extensive attractive menu for breakfast and lunch indicates I will have to return several times to try the items I would like to sample. I had the double cheeseburger with fries and it was very tasty - wagyu beef, a fresh toasted brioche bun and a special tangy sauce made it a large great lunch. The wife had avocado toast with a nice egg on top - very attractive plating and tasty. My son had a Cobb salad with avocado and his wife had a harvest omelette with tofu and she liked it. Each dish was fresh tasting, attractive and reasonably priced. This particular restaurant has ample seating, disability access, and plenty of parking and is also located in a shopping center where you can batch your other trips with a nice meal. Family friendly and there was a high chair available for our granddaughter. Definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Fresh vegetables including tofu.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly, high chairs available.

It's basically a casual diner with lots of Mexican foods. If you set those expectations, it's wonderful. If you have kids it's wonderful. If you wanna sit alone at the counter. It's wonderful. It could be a NYC diner. A corner bistro, a friend's house. Whatever you want.

As a general rule, I love Kerby Lane and have visited several locations. This particular visit wasn't up to usual Kerby Lane standards. Two water glasses arrived dirty, and eggs arrived under cooked. The server was very nice and replaced the glasses and eggs. The pancakes were fabulous, as usual. I'm sure this was just an off day for them.

My wife and I have been to this location twice now and I'd say we have a mixed experience, but would overall recommend giving this location a visit. First, the restaurant itself gives a standard diner vibe. It's a spacious location with plenty of seating, which limits wait time. That's a plus. The service has been great both times we've eaten here. They miss the mark, for me, when it comes to their Eggs Benedict. This is one of those meals that's an instant order for me anywhere I go. Both times I've ordered a different variation of their Eggs Benedict and both times the eggs have been severely overcooked. It's disappointing because it defeats one of the main appeals of an Eggs Benedict. However, I will caveat by saying that this could be due to timing as both times we've gone has been closer to lunch time on a Sunday. Besides the eggs, the rest of my meal has been enjoyable. My wife, a ranch connoisseur, told me to give them an extra star based on their ranch alone. She has really enjoyed both meals she's ordered, and I'd agree that her food has been very tasty. Overall, if you're looking for a brunch or lunch spot, I'd recommend giving them a try. Maybe just avoid the Eggs Benedict if you want correctly cooked eggs. Otherwise, you'll probably have an enjoyable experience.

Our daughter loves Kerby Lane because it has a play ground for the kids. However this last weekend we must have caught them on a bad day. Eggs ordered over hard came with liquid yolks AND WHITES. My wife's Benedict came with scrambled eggs rather than poached. The syrup was watered down and the syrup pitcher leaked all over.

Nice people, excellent service. Possibly the best poached eggs I’ve ever had (but please drain them better!) Good coffee, really excellent French toast — griddled, not fried. The space is kind of grim, though.
