It’s super sad how down hill and crappy this place is now! The people who currently go obviously have no idea what good food is supposed to be like. This place was the bomb back in the day before it blossomed into some kind chain low quality crap!

Great food and service at Kerby Lane! I took my daughter and grandkids out for breakfast. We were able to order our favorite ham and cheese omelette! The waitress was super friendly and went above and beyond to get exactly what we wanted in a timely manner.

Andrew P is a most excellent server! He was attentive, and intuitively brought me lemons even when I didn’t ask for them (but secretly really wanted them). He is kind, funny, and will point out a golden retriever rolling in the grass so you don’t miss it. Top notch service! I felt so welcome and had a great time!

Food is good. Service is friendly. Eggs were not as ordered. And server forgot condiment. Otherwise, it’s a great place to eat!

I was visiting Austin and found this place through a Google search. I sometimes have difficulty finding options with having a gluten allergy. I was so excited to try their gluten free pancakes and they did not disappoint! They were so thick and fluffy! And that iced cinnamon latte - that came straight from coffee heaven. I think that’s one of the best coffees I’ve tasted! I will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Austin.
Be prepared - they are very busy and you’ll have to wait - unless you’re a solo diner like me, then you’ll find space at the counter ;)

Came here for brunch. We put our name down online, where it said it would be a 10 minute wait, but the hostess were telling us it would be 30 minutes. However, we got a text a couple minutes later saying our table was ready. I’m not sure why there’s a disconnect between this online system and the hostess. Additionally, when we received our food—a hair came out in my eggs, so I politely sent it back. When my second order came out, my eggs were undercooked. The whites were not even set. I do want to take the time to shoutout the guy who sat us to our table, he was so kind and outgoing! He really created a fun atmosphere, I wish the food lived up to my expectation.

Took 45 minutes to be seated when we were told 25. We asked when we would be seated and they said it would be another 25 minutes. We were finally seated and sat at our table for 10 minutes before someone came to get our order - but I had to ask if someone was going to come??? Food is too average for this kind of service.
Awesome food and atmosphere. But it is freezing in there. Make sure and wear a coat! I have no idea why they keep it so cold

ABSOLUTE SERENDIPITY!!!
Today we had the most fantastic little meal at the Lamar location. We had a great host, who suggested the current special pancakes (blueberry cornbread), and then the magic really happened:
We were fortunate enough to be seated in Gena Kirby's section. And she was brilliant. Gave us space and grace with the menu, and let us customize our lunches just so.
I went with the triple pancake stack and a tall glass of ice-cold fresh milk, and my partner in crime chose the migas plate with a tasty bloody mary for beverage of choice.
Drinks came out post-haste, food shortly after, despite it being pretty full up. Gena took the time and care to check back with us a few times while still juggling a busy section.
Great meal, great staff, brilliant waitress. Thanks, Gena. I'll definitely be back!
