Mind-blowing pork ribs and excellent potato salad. That's all I had but my friend said the brisket was phenomenal. Included a complimentary Texas water to wash it all down. Highly recommended

Amazing moist and flavorful brisket. Some of the most delicious blue cheese coleslaw. Very good beans. Sausage was kinda meh. No lines execellent vibes very nice outdoor atmosphere. I would definitely come back here before I waited for blacks, La barbecue, or Franklins. In fact I think this brisket is better than any of those three.

Was told I couldn't miss the brisket cheddar kolaches and wasn't disappointed. The Kolaches are only available Sundays and only until they sell out (which happens fast). The line is pretty nuts so get there early (they open at 11).

Another exceptional dine-in at Kerlin. I highly recommend this stop in Austin despite not having the same publicity as a Franklin’s or Terry Black’s.My recommendation:Brisket - perfectly tenderSauce - it’s not often that I remark on bbq sauce but Kerlin’s is outstanding and balancedJalapeño Dill Potato Salad - a creative side with all my favorite ingredients5/5! Simply the best kolaches (klobasniky for real czech peeps) in Texas. Large, freshly baked, loaded with meat for $5. Super friendly service. Pro tip...when they ask if you want bbq sauce, you do. There is a lot of brisket in there to soak it up! Cant wait for their Kerlache dedicated kolache truck to open up.

10/10. And I'm the guy that hasn't tried the KERLACHE yet...SOLD out everytime (gotta pre-order on Sundays). Brisket was silly good, sauce is boss. Service was old school Austin. Amazing people, who really care about their product and their clientele. Topo in glass bottles, pot salad, blue chz slaw, lots of picnic tables.......I'm in love ❤

So, transparency, we went to Terry blacks last night. Super expensive and the ribs were not at all tasty. We found Kerlins online and HAD to have their kerlache. Surprise! The kerlache was great, but wow, the pork burnt ends were even better. Added some jalapeño dill potato salad, one heckuva lunch for $25. Very pleased, we will be back again!
Oh man!! I had the Kerlache and it was amazing ??. I highly recommend this place. I also had their ribs which were seasoned and smoked well. Their bbq sauce is lighter and on the spicy side.but works well with everything.My gf had the potato salad with ranch beans. The potato salad was a bit spicy but she thought it was amazing. The beans hit the same spot, they were great. These beans have a bit of an onion flavor with some KICKING spices. More mild but still good.Obviously you want to get here on Sundays for their Kerlache. Make sure you get TWO when you try em. I had to get back in line just for another one. Amazing!!

My friend and I decided to eat here since Franklin’s dine in was closed. My brisket was delicious and tender. The Mac and cheese I got was perfectly creamy and flavorful. Love the simple dining area outside too. Great BBQ spot.

Go Ahead Try finding Pork Belly Bunt Ends in in South Austin, I'll Wait!?? Bad News Kerlins opens start days are on FRI GOOD NEWS "ITS WORTH THE WAIT!!! Burnt Ends were diced & full of flavor & smoked jusright! The owner heard me that I wanted to try the Ribs but didn't want 2 do an 1/2 rac or whole without tryin em. When I got there she had threw in 3ribs to try ON DA HOUSE.Ribs Tender and also Smoked jus rigjt!!!⚠️WARNING! IF YOU WANT BURNT ENDS YA BETTA ORDER AHEAD FOR "PICK UP" a Tru Testamate to how good sompthin is - WHEN ITS SOLD OUT WITHIN THE HR!⏳⌛
