We went a little off the norm today and tried out Kesshō Craft chocolate and Gelato. It's in a trailer park off Burnet Rd.
I've had Kesshō chocolate before..and it's really good - locally made and hand crafted! My husband tried their new sichuan hot pot chocolate - has a creeper heat that gets you right at the end! He gave it two thumbs up!
The gelato is made from scratch at their local kitchen and they have some definite 'different' flavors! Since I was trying to be 'off the norm', I had the mango sticky rice (vegan! made from coconut milk) and it was amazing! It even had little mango pieces in the pulp. Hubs had the caramel banana - it had shoyu in it - and he really thought the shoyu combined with caramel made for a deeper umami flavor!
We would definitely go back and try some more flavors! Service was great - and she was very helpful! If you haven't been, highly recommend!

One of the best ube ice creams I have had. Tried a couple of others too and all of the flavors were very balanced. Very creamy and smooth. Not too sweet!

I am a super picky ice-cream eater, and their ice-ceeam is soooo good! Best gelato in Texas so far! We ordered Sakura strawberry cheesecake, it’s slightly Sakura fragrant with chunks of cheesecake; and motcha: rich motcha flavor; and sesame: sooo rich and yummy, with sesame chunks. Such a delight!

The most top tier ice cream I have had in a looong time! The thoughtfully sourced ingredients were surprisingly and delightful. We were indecisive but agreed on the black sesame and ceremonial match. They even have black sesame waffle cones!!!! We asked about where to find them again (they are in local shops and Central Market).
The yuzu watermelon was sooo good!! Highly recommend and hope to see it in the future (as I’m aware flavors rotate). Also the girl that served us was so sweet and very helpful

Asian inspired flavors come through extremely well & the craftsmanship of their blends are impressive. They have flavors that always stay the same, and some that rotate. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I’d highly recommend checking them out. My favorite was the mango sticky rice and we also got yuzu watermelon & peach oolong. Great choices as well!
