A welcome addition to The Yard. Knuckle Sandwich might have a small menu but the quality is there. I find their turkey sandwich to be super crave-able.

Great sandwiches! We’ve had some issues with consistency going back a few times, but when they get it right it’s outstanding. The Italian is next level.

Twice now I have arrived during the hours they are open via Google Maps and they have been closed. What’s the point?

Knuckle Sandwich was so incredibly tasty — loved this so much.
The flavors are bursting and you can’t really find this anywhere else in town.
I will say, this sandwich is expensive. I am okay paying for quality, but for the price point they set — I don’t think you get what you pay for. $22 for a full sandwich and $12 for a half, you’re paying a lot.
I don’t think anything needs to change with the product, just the price.

Alright let’s talk about Knuckle Sandwich at St. Elmo. I went. I ordered the namesake, The Knuckle Sandwich and very fortunately the guy didn’t punch me. Turns out it’s a punch for your tastebuds not the kind that leaves you needing an ice pack.
This thing comes out stacked like it’s been hitting the gym. The way a dang good sandwich should be. Bread that actually holds together, meat piled up and needs a high pile permit, and all the fixings tucked in like they knew their role. Juicy, salty, tangy, crunchy, and a little bit of zing from the peppers. Dope.
Would love to have just posted a review with an empty plate (That’ll happen here.) because it was that good!
Have no fear of an Austin Knuckle Sandwich!

Kinda over hyped, my lunch partner really pumped it up. A good sandwich, but I've had better many times.

I’m still thinking about the deli sandwich I had—hands down one of the best I’ve had in ages. The bread was perfectly fresh, with just the right balance of chew and crunch, and the ingredients inside were clearly top quality. Every bite was layered with flavor—from the savory meats to the parmesan crisp and whatever secret sauce they’re using. It was delicious!
And then there were the chickpea tater tots. I didn’t even know I needed these in my life until now. Crispy on the outside, warm and hearty inside, with that perfect blend of seasoning that makes them completely addictive. Somehow they managed to be both satisfying and light—comfort food without the guilt.
All in all, a totally unexpected and seriously impressive meal. I’ll be coming back soon—and bringing friends!
