This place is amazing!! The food and service was great. We got various rolls but ate some before the phone ate the staff were very nice and the place was busy but cozy.

Came for the sushi, but was blown away by the soba dish! Had a bit of a wait, but love that you can order drinks and hangout on the patio while you wait. The sparkling yuzu drink was so good! The cold soba was super refreshing with a flavorful dipping broth that you mix with all the toppings, and the noodles had a nice chewy texture. Definitely reminds me of the food in Japan! Sushi was pretty standard, but great quality for the price. The agedashi tofu was another gem. The service here is super friendly, and it seemed like a great spot to hang out with friends or have a date. Will be coming back specifically for soba again!

I hadn't been to Kome since before covid. I remembered how great the food was, service and ambiance. I can verify even after so many years Kome is still at the heart one of the best fresh sushi spots in Austin! The katsou, madai, hamachi, Hama toro and maguro we yummy! My husband had the tonkotsu Ramen and can't wait til we go back. I am looking forward to the next flight I have out of Austin as Kome is my new spot to eat at before I fly out.

Food is extremely fresh! I love going here after work. The combination of texture and taste in every nigiri is amazing! Love the salmon roe with uni, fatty toro, basically everything we've ordered was amazing! Mango mochi is the best. Servers are very attentive and accommodating. Place is a bit crowded but I reckon it's because of good food.

I went to this restaurant a lot and I must say the food was very delicious! But I also hear something not so good. The management they speak not nicely to the workers. This made me feel uncomfortable. The workers they are very kind and work hard! I think management should be more kind too. Good food yes but management please be better to people who work for you. Thank you all for patient with my family!

Long wait, over-priced, and mundane.

The food was a little bit expensive, but I was quite impressed with everything. A lot of the dishes tasted really authentic and the flavors and textures were perfect. My favorite was the raw octopus and that was a small portion for six bucks but you slowly eat it and it's well worth the money. The tempura and the dipping soda were amazing and refreshing as well. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

My sister and I had a ball. The staff were extremely friendly. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh. Went here while I was in college, and still come years later when visiting family. Highly recommend.

The food here was life changing. After having gone to Japan, I didn’t think the food could be better, but Kome was! The sushi was so fresh. The staff was INCREDIBLY attentive. And the prices were so reasonable. We wish we didn’t live out of town so we could enjoy this more. I cannot recommend Kome enough!!
