This was my first time here, and it was a great dining experience. The service was very friendly and prompt. The shallot pancake was especially tasty. The vegetables, sides, and meat all arrived, and we were set. We will come again the next time we are in the area.

This is currently my favorite restaurant in Austin. I enjoyed the first experience so much that I went back a week later. Clean place, kind staff, and the food…. Omg the food guys!! I am pretty new to Korean restaurants but I jumped on the Seoul-train train ? a few months ago and have tried about 5 different restaurants this year. Korea House is the best for my preferences - the food, atmosphere, staff, and price are all ??????. Try the Kimchi Pancake, Tteokbokki, Bulgogi Hot Pot, Galbi, and Beef Tofu!My absolute favorite dish was the Curry Udon - pure magic.Makgeolli if you are drinking ?A variety of traditional side dishes are served. And rice also comes with a lot of the menu items.감사합니다GamsahabnidaThank you!

Been coming here for a decade or more and it scratches the Korean food itch. I love the variety of banchan they serve.

UPDATE: I was there again today (3/20/24) at mid-day just before closing. Our server was kind and courteous and checked up on us regularly. The food was amazing, and we enjoyed every minute and morsel.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~If you don't mind being treated with disdain while eating delicious Korean food, this is the place for you. They have grill tables with minimum order of two meats per table, or you can choose to leave cooking at home and just order off the menu. (If you're a mom, you understand perfectly) Either way, it's delicious, and we have been there many times. Be ready to make a speedy exit at closing.time, they don't play.Vegetarian options: Of course.Parking: Free parking. I came in for their monthly free meal (first Wednesday of every month) and had the curry. It was very tasty! Certainly planning on coming back to try their other dishes. Love their commitment to the community!

This place is a true hidden Austin classic. This is my favorite duck in town and my favorite Kimchi period. I only sit at tables with a grill. I come here at least once a quarter. Excellent quality every single time.

The food was great. People were so nice and friendly. Just the tables that are for grills are not in a good place.

Just dinned in at the Korea House restaurant in Austin on 03/06/24 evening time. Unfortunately due to it being a free food day, there was a long wait in line. When we got to the door and was greeted by the owner, I had informed her and the staff that I had my husband's service dogs with us (aka registered service Texas American Disability act). My husband and the service dogs were denied entry, with legal documentation. So, anyone with service animals please do not go to this restaurant. The fun fact that my service Frenchie pups were adored by the crowd with my husband and even the security acknowledged how well mannered my pups were. My husband had to wait on my daughter and I to dine. I was racially profiled in the front because they sat us next together with another ethnic couple, even though we're ethnic ourselves. They didn't offer drinks they just brought us water, brought appetizers, they didn't offer utensils. We had to figure how to use chopsticks. The appetizer was cold and main course meal was warm. The only good thing I can say from my experience is that the food was tasteful. Korea House restaurant please take consideration to federal laws when it comes to disabled clients.

The worst Korean food I've ever had in my life! Never go there! Waste of money! The side dishes looked like someone had left them behind after eating them, and all six members of the family said they were not tasty. Barbecue grill in front of the bathroom! The food tastes all gone. Boss, please pay attention, you’ll get criticized!
