I walked in and asked the guy behind the counter if the donuts were fresh since the line was really dirty… as I asked the question, a girl passed by and looked at me, rolled her eyes as she was laughed. I live 5 minutes from this location and stop by every day on my way to work for a donut and coffee… I’d rather make the drive to a different location, even a different place to take my service where it’s appreciated. I asked another employee for her name and he said her name was Lisa.

I would like to premise this by saying that I still overall recommend this spot to anyone, but our last visit here left a sour taste in my mouth.
We entered the establishment looking around and were greeted by a kind worker at the front desk. She saw we were looking at the glazed donuts through the window and offered us a couple free samples. We were excited and the samples were delicious. When we were ready to order, my partner chose her selection and she’s pretty OCD so she likes to choose specific donuts on the lineup. (Side note: my partner loves donuts and she does this everywhere. No where else gives us any issues) Which, at first, the cashier was willing to do until a supervisor came over and bluntly/rudely stated that “[no, she can’t do that for you].” She claimed it was due to some policy. I understand sometimes policies doesn’t allow us to do certain things for clientele, but there was definitely a more professional way to approach the situation. She did not engage after and kept side eyeing my partner, who was getting flustered. After she calmed down she apologized to the cashier, who was understanding and we left.
Firstly, I apologize for the stress we could have caused the poor girl at the cash stand. Secondly, I applaud her. I always believe that the service given by staff members is directly related to the example set by leadership. That being said, though the example set by leadership here is quite poor, the girl shines through.
I recommend this place for the donuts and staff, but don’t trust leadership to help you here.

Rude and uninviting night staff. When attempting to pickup an order, I wasn’t able to hear one part of what the worker said to me through the drive thru speaker. When I **apologized** and asked her to repeat, the lady decided to (presumably) push the microphone as close to her angry lips as possible and very begrudgingly repeat what she said. Due to her not very well thought out idea, I still wasn’t able to make out what she said due to the microphone quality being reduced in her rage. Eventually another worker stepped in and told me to pull forward. This makes me believe this is a common issue with this lady. Please don’t work in food service if you’re going to be angry consistently! I’ll be praying for you, angry lady

Horrible experience. The manager that provided the most horrible service was racist and discriminatory. Attempted to accuse me and compare me to people that order through Too Good To Go and double dip. I clearly said it was my first time and made a mistake on the app, however, rather than deescalating my issue and allow me to purchase a separate order, she denied me service because she didn't want to. I've worked in customer service for 30+years and she did a horrible job. Rather than being serviceful, she was ego driven and spiteful. When I clearly made a mistake and requested for a separate order, she seemed tired and overwhelmed snd took it out on me. A complaint has been filed to your district manager and the 3rd party business.
0 stars, refused to give me my order even though i showed them the receipt on the app where I put down my order! This is a SCAM, should be illegal, and the manager was rude! That was the last time I will ever come to this location! Avoid at all cost, or you might get scammed!

I had the worst service experience today at your store @Research Blvd - Austin 78759. I ordered thru the drive-thru 4 donuts, the person that was taking the order offered to get up to 6, I said no thanks. When I arrived to the window I changed my mind and I told the person, can you please give me additional of the 4 donuts a half dozen please? she was going to add that to the order when somebody else jumped in and said if you want something else you need to go back and order it. The store was COMPLETELY EMPTY, there were no one soul in the drive thru, she was very rude. Very bad experience!! I was very sad and disappointed. I am not sure if I’ll go back again
