It was an amazing time there with the members of Church. We rsvp and the staff was able to accommodate us a table to fit us all. Jason our waiter was very helpful & informative on the options the restaurant had to offer. The cooks were on point making the dishes to our liking. Jason & staff were attentive to our requests. Overall the experience was great & the Superman sushi is a must. Even for some it was the first time trying sushi & they were impressed on the taste.
Definitely returning and i advise come with an empty stomach.

This restaurant is situated in a strip mall that along I-35. A lot of businesses had changed hands in this area but Kublai Khan had been a steady fixture here - this should lead credence to its offerings. The mall now has AMC-run theaters, an Indian supermarket, Conn's, Petco, and other establishments.

They offer the traditional asian menu but their specialty is the Mongolian Stir Fry. Basically, when seated, patrons are each offered a stainless steel bowl. Then head on to their buffet of protein, sauce, veggies, among others. The price is reasonable at $11.99 - provided one doesn't overfill one's bowl with protein, otherwise there is a $3.99 surcharge tacked on to your bill. One can overfill one's bowl with the other non-protein items without issue. Then, the patron brings their bowl to the counter unto individual trays, pick options for noodles and for rice. Noodles would cost an extra $1.99, rice is included at no cost. After filling up options, patrons takesy a numbered card (from under their tray) and bring it to their table. When stir fried, staff brings over the bowl to the table. And that's it!

Servings were huge as both the noodles and rice added bulk to the bowls' contents. One would usually have their fill with plenty (a third) leftover.

Service was quick and the place offers plenty of parking as the strip mall isn't busy during lunchtime. Dinnertime mall traffic would still offer plenty of parking spots.

I love a good Mongolian grill. If the food is not good it's on you.

They could do better about explaining the process. But that's also my fault because I'm used to a one time fee kind of Mongolian BBQ where whatever you can fit anyrthing and everything you can fit onto one plate, goes in your bowl. They do have limitations but the sushi and our bowls were superior as far as taste. Will definitely be back! Now I know how big the bowls are and how the rules work, ill definitely make my bowl differently next time.

Went from fine dining to nickel and diming. Upcharge for regualr bowl size extra 3.99 because they "feel" its too much meat. Also charge extra for more than 2 eggs($2 per eggs over 2), also charge 20%extra if u go with 5 or more people.
So they charge more for less food. Only have dinner prices all weekend.
Restroom also smelled really bad and was dirty.

We have been coming here for years, loved it but for the past 2 years the experience has steadily declining. After 2 eggs it's 2$ each extra egg. passed years my fiance got unlimited never had extra charge. Claimed he had extra protein, the potatoes are huge now so they charge 4 $extra . Claimed he had extra protein, he only had potatoes and 2 eggs on top. Remind you the eggs were already charged extra. The party limited size used be 6 now it's to 5, after 5 there is 20% charge tip feee to your bill automatically.( it's on the menu very lil) you won't know until the bill comes) I would recommend Pepperoni and tortillas but they never have it anymore. It's unfortunate because all week we planned to come and the experience wasn't good this time.

As far as I know it’s the only game in town for Mongolian. Hits the spot, and it seems like management is working to revitalize. Staff are always friendly too. Just wish they’d work on repairing and dusting wall decor. Signage above the meat area has like an inch of dust on it. A bit more attention to the decor and experience would make this place so much better. Overall I’m giving it 5 stars though.

Waited 20 minutes to order. Stopped a bus boy and they said they would get our server. Stopped a server but they didn't claim our table. Tried to order from the table qr code but got an error. Got up and left without food.
