This has been mine and my daughters favorite spot for years, but recently we’ve gone 2 times in a row and they were out of ramen. That’s what my daughter gets and both times we’ve had to leave and go somewhere else. It’s disappointing but hopefully the ramen will be back and we can start going again. Food has always been wonderful so I’m definitely missing it now.

Katsu was great. Macaroni salad not a great side. Kahlua pork not so tasty. Took a long time and servers forgot to put sauce in the bag even though I had asked.

Closed over 30 minutes before it said they closed and was disappointed when I arrived. It says they close at 8:30 and I got there at 8. The door was locked and I was left upset with the circumstance

This place "Broke da mouth"! My family agrees that the Loco Moco (w/2 beef patties, eggs, gravy, mac salad & rice), the Chicken Katsu and BBQ Beef plates were fantastic... honestly better than the same L&Ls on Oahu. Granted that we were hungry, but the amount of food on each plate, the quality and taste absolutely did not disappoint! Each of us (family of 4 w/2 teenage boys) were satisfied & full! Definitely coming back whenever we want a taste of the Islands!

Parking: Good amount of parking except when the Chipotle next door is busy.

10/07/24 We’re long time L&L fans, lived in Hawaii & SoCal so grew up on this food & this was my 2nd time at this location and if it was my 1st visit, I’d never come back but know everyone has bad days but let’s just say putting burnt cut chicken scrap in as was 1/3 of these 2 meals is not typical or normal from L&L.

Love that there's an L&L in Austin. It makes me think of my trips to Hawaii. But I have to knock off a star since this last time we went, the katsu didn't taste that great. It tasted like the oil was old and there was a huge roach crawling on the wall by our seats. I still loved their loco moco though.

Ordered a BBQ mix but only found chicken in my takeout. Beef and ribs were missing.
