Great food. The bbq beef and BBQ chicken were really good. The Mac salad is definitely a new favorite. Its authentic and true to Hawaiian cuisine.

⭐ 1 star.
Food is decent for the mainland, but the service? Shoots, that’s where it falls apart. Don’t bother ordering online — they’ll call, say “oh sorry, no more,” and then keep your money like one souvenir. Sigh… I just wanted my hamburger steak fix, brah.

I grew up in Hawai'i. There was always an L&L close by. The food here is pretty good, reminds me of home. But Google maps says it ranges in price from $10-$20 per person. I just ate there, and for my single meal, it cost me $35. And for a Hawai'ian eatery, they're playing rap and hip-hop, and not Hawai'ian music. Their fountain drink machine is broken, I don't want to use the restroom if I can smell it every time someone opens the door. I'm sorry, but if I get a craving for hometown cooking, I'll go to an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet restaurant. I can't imagine what the founder's would think if they could see this place. I think you've lost this Hawai'ian boy as a return customer.

This place is nothing short of amazing! I deliver meals on occasion and the Monday special piqued my curiosity. L&L offers the purveyor a Hawaiian hunger-Fightin’, taste-Delightin’ treat called the Spam Musubi. This delectable entree has lightly seasoned rice and Spam swaddled in crispy seaweed wrap. Say Aloha to this wondrous Island Paradise…you’re definitely going to say Mahalo!

Very disappointed with the burnt food. It’s so expensive here and to get home and see this. 0/10!!!

It is a tiny place but the food is exactly like the L&L's in Hawaii. Just wish they were closer. We are north of Austin and they are way south. However it is worth the drive periodically.

We love this location but it can be a hit and miss with the quality of food at times. We placed a to-go order yesterday, June 29, 2025 at around 4pm. The service was great and the food was so tasty and fresh! I got the seafood bbq plate and my husband got the mixed bbq plate. We were very satisfied. I hope this will be our experience again in the future.

I’ve been here a few times now and it never disappoints. This time I grabbed the Tuesday special – the BBQ chicken bowl – and it hit the spot. The chicken was grilled perfectly, tender with great flavor, paired with fluffy white rice and a good mix of veggies. Comes with a drink too, which is a nice touch.
The service is always friendly and quick, and the food stays consistently great every time I visit. Definitely one of my favorites spots when I’m in south austin

Just left the place AC is broken felt like an oven inside. I was more upset because food was burnt paid I paid a whopping $99 for horrible burn food. Out of all the L &L’s I’ve been to this one horrible.
