Enjoyed the food! There's quite the variety and it is simple. You know what you're eating. The canned Hawaiian drinks are a bit pricey and I wish the serving dishes weren't the plastic, but I understand if you don't finish it, you can then just take it with you. Seating is a little cramped but a lot of people pick up and go.

Crunchiest katsu in South Austin! Musubi is great! Not a big fan of Hawaiian style BBQ but it was all tasty and cooked right! I'll be back to try out the seafood options soon.
Ordered a meal, or so I thought. Waited 20 minutes for it, then asked the counter service for a status update. They said I didn't successfully complete my transaction..... But they didn't clearly tell me such. While I was waiting 20 minutes was a good time to tell me. The staff was young so I blame inexperience and management.

So happy we came by, we were craving hawaiian food and were nearby! The bbq plate is really good, the short ribs are tender and flavorful, and the bbq beef too! They ran out of chicken so we got more short ribs, and also a shrimp plate - ask for sauces, they go so well with the shrimp! The Macaroni salad is creamy and light. Definitely recommend! The people are all so friendly too!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Absolutely terrible service. We ordered and waited (by the counter) for almost an hour before they realized they had lost our order. I have no idea what kind of inefficient and incompetent system they have because we clearly ordered and had a receipt, but they couldn't find it in the system.
Im from Hawai'i and this spot reminds me of home. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant atmosphere is so chill it gives off that hawaiianisland vibes. The food is always Onolicious. Mahalo for the great service and even greater food.

Aloha ? always love L&L. Always love the food here. Bbq is my favorite and also the macaroni omg . Really clean and the staff are friendly. Really good service ?. Love it ?. ?. Food is very tasty. But the special attention care and friendliness from the manager made us feel right at home ?.
I only leave this detailed review because I hope the owner sees it and cares to see what my experience was…. Not to trash the restaurant.I was excited about this one. Close to home ave loved the menu. Ordered online. Walked into the store at the given time and saw 2 employees stirring at one of the few tables that were very involved with their own conversation to even realize a customer had walked in the door, and this part doesn’t bother me so much, but a lot F bombs being dropped…but that may bother some other customers? Only to see one young man working in the entire kitchen. I was asked if I had pick up or placing an order, and said pick up. He hadn’t even pulled the ticket yet, and there were no that tickets to be seen in the entire area! We had placed the order 25 min prior, and were told that it would be ready in 20. We ordered directly through the website. Not DoorDash.Problem #1: arrived on time for the order, and was told that it would be another 10 minutes as it had not even began being put together. (Ended up being 15).Problem #2: Missed items on our order. Didn’t realize till I got home (should have done my due diligence, but alas).Problem #3: food wasn’t great. Pretty subpar tbh. Really was rooting for this spot. Like mentioned above…menu kicks booty, but the rice treated like minute rice, veggies were clearly just frozen veg, chicken way over cooked, pulled pork underwhelming. DANG! I do hope…. If the owners care…this helps At all!!
