Our server meagan was attentive and amazing even walked us through the menu offering suggestions and took the time to explain to us what each item was. We got the panza which is a special right now and love that they make so many items fresh in house!

Visited La Condesa tonight and the food was amazing. Carnitas tacos are incredible and highly recommend the season green beans. Our server, megan, was great - brought our drinks out quickly and super friendly. Definitely will be returning!

They have changed their menu and made it quite unique.
Short but very good. Locally sourced ingredients, amazing taste and quick service are the highlights here.
Appetizers to main course, all items are a unique experience.
Ambiance is great but a little bit more light should work too. Sometimes gets difficult to read menu.
Good selection of wines, and some tasty and tangy margaritas too!
Service is great.. their suggestions help pick out a great dish which otherwise I wouldn't have ordered.
Definitely worth a try.

INCREDIBLE! We chose this restaurant to use an OpenTable benefit we had. So glad we picked this restaurant!
Happy Hour is 5-7:00 with 1/2 off ALL drinks from the bar. It's worth going just for Happy Hour! I had the Manzana Clara... delicious. My husband had a Moscow Mule also delicious.
We started with the guacamole starter with chips, restaurant made masa. Mmmm. We ordered two separate dishes then shared. They were both so flavorful! The pork belly tacos were 10/10 as was the short rib quesadilla. We tried the desserts too! Tres Leches Cake and Pot de chocolat with banana ice cream. Oh! My! Goodness!
The service was awesome! Meagan (I think) gave great recommendations and answered all of our questions. We asked her to bring another drink when ours got low...she was on it!
I can't say enough about La Condesa. You must give it a try!

We ate at La Condesa after a movie at Violet Crown—excellent dining experience. The food was delicious, and our server was personable and made the experience that much better. She made excellent recommendations as we didn't know the menu, and also delivered our drinks quickly. Such a yummy frozen margarita. I want another one now! Ha! We had a great time!

Booked La Condesa for an anniversary dinner out on the town and the service and food were incredible! This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion where you feel comfortable paying a little more than what you'd normally for a dinner out. The wait staff is very welcoming and attentive, food and drinks came out quick and fresh, and the environment is sophisticated yet not overly pretentious.

La condesa is simply beautiful. I highly reccomend for authentic mexican food in Austin. The service is fantastic. I had a reservation for 6:30. We got there early at 5:30. And they still let us in so that was already a plus. The service was so professional and foreign to me. The waiter was excellent. I think his name was Christian. He always gave us time to order and eat before ordering again. Our food was always delivered at just the right time not too late, nor too soon. For appetizers, we ordered the queso flameado and guacamole. The queso was so earthy and delicious with those hand-made tortillas. The guacamole was very fresh and that was devoured pretty quickly. Then I had a mocktail, the coco playero which was so tropical and refreshing. For an entree, I ordered the Huarache de Huitlacoche. The base was so delicious, like a gordita. The chese with the beans and toppings were delicious and hearty. I then had another mocktail to cut the spiciness of the huarache before dessert. For dessert, we had the churros, chocolate, and tres leches. Scrumptious!!! Overall, fantastic and the place was so nice, even the bathrooms were romantic which just added to the amount of times I said wow!!! 😍 The prices were extremely reasonable for a restaurant of its prominence. The staff was also so attentive and observant. I will come again one day when I visit Austin again.

My wife and I wanted a vibey date night and we found the perfect spot! Sarah Johnson was an incredible bartender and host for us. She gave us perfect mescal recommendations and the short rib queso flameado was fire. 10/10!!! 🔥
