I have 40 minutes waiting for my food. I wouldn't recommend the place because it's also dirty.

I was very disappointed as nearly every cluster was either empty or contained only a small amount of meat.
Cashier was nice.

Just spent $100 for literally MUSH. By far the worse crawfish I have ever had. Was literally almost inedible. Was MUSH. Small and soggy. Most definitely frozen. I'm so disappointed 😞

The food was absolutely terrible! Starting with the fried crawfish tails, they were drenched in grease, and the grease tasted old. As soon as I bit into them, my mouth was overwhelmed with an unpleasant, greasy taste. It seemed like the grease was so old it had taken on a non-food chemical flavor. I had to brush my teeth and use mouthwash right away because it was that bad.

I also tried their gumbo, and it tasted like it had been reheated after sitting for a week. The crawfish and shrimp meat were incredibly rubbery. Tbh I’m writing this review just in case I don’t wake up tomorrow because something about those fried crawfish tails wasn’t right. My stomach still feels off and I still have a bad taste at the back of my mouth. . Without a doubt, this was the worst gumbo and fried crawfish tails I’ve ever had! I want to add.. the Cajun garlic butter didn’t taste good and everything was cold. I wish I could give them zero stars.

I got the magic Cajun rice. Crawfish and added sausage. I could literally count on one hand how many pieces of crawfish was in it. The flavor was there. But for $17 it's a no go. Alot of rice. SMH!!

Heed my warning!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at L.A. Crawfish off Ben White was beyond disappointing.

First off, we walk in, and the cashier is visibly drunk. We proceed to order, and I get a margarita. The same cashier serves it to me without any alcohol in it. I asked for it to be remade, and the second attempt was barely better—a watered-down margarita. To be fair, it had a decent amount of alcohol, but by then, the damage was done.

Then the food started coming out, and things only went downhill. The crawfish were super small, overcooked, and nearly impossible to eat. Usually, you can easily pull the meat out of the tail, but we had to work way too hard for it.

The crawfish pho was an even bigger letdown. The broth was bland and had an unpleasant fishy taste because of the crawfish. One of the best parts of eating pho is savoring the broth, but this one was so bad I left it untouched.

Finally, we ordered the beignets, which were basically just fried sticks. While they tasted fine, they were absolutely not beignets.

Some low ratings seemed over-exaggerated, but after my experience, I completely understand the frustration. Don’t waste your hard-earned money here.

Crawfish tasted great and were boiled perfectly. Little small and expensive, but it’s also just starting the season. I’ll give it another try mid season

The worst boil ive ever had. None of the crab meat came out the shell in pieces you had to scrape it out. Extremely too much seasoning thrown at the bottom. You have to completely unshell and de-head your shrimp. Legs were cold. Just don’t waste your money.

Cashier oveecharged me. Beef was so chewy I'm wondering if it was dog meat. Loud music, flickering lights. Bartender was cute though.

It was my first time, and it'll be my last time. The guy taking my order kept messing it up, ended up giving it to the wrong people. And messed it up again. I wasn't even compensated for the wait I had to sit out. I thought it was just me, but now I'm seeing several people got sick after eating from this place. I was sick all weekend and thought maybe it was just a bug. Decided to eat my leftovers, and sick all over again. If this is the case, this place might as well shut down. I didn't pay to be sick to my stomach.

The staff is very friendly and there to accommodate. The menu needs to be written better to make it an easier read. The magic rice was good but the cajun curry dish was made perfect. Ask for extra spicy. Nice and clean restaurant.

If you like bland seafood boils, this is your place!

As I stepped up to place my order I was warmly greeted by the cashier, the only issue is he needs to SLOW down. This is not a race, this is dinner time. If he’d slow down, he’d be able to take orders more efficiently. When I added to my seafood boil we had to come to a complete stop because I ordered 1 corn and my partner ordered 2 and it was very confusing for the cashier to add those 3 together.

Overall the place had a funk, the wrinkle table cloths gave it a cheap look and when the food came out it looked like everything was BLAND.

I wouldn’t go back.

Their chicken and waffles is my favorite thing on the menu (it’s wings fyi). Snow crab boil is decent and I wouldn’t get any other sauce except the garlic butter cajun. Not a lot of Louisiana style seafood places in Austin and I hope this one sticks around.
