The quiche florentine was very bland and lacked salt. The strawberry napoleon was great, though.

Worst customer service at the bakery. Depressed workers. Sad to see such unhappy people behind the counters. You can’t order bakery items at the bakery and pay for it. Apparently, the bakery line is for only to go orders??‍♀️

Most rude staff I have ever come across in a French cafes.Made us wait almost 30minutes for a coffee.Neither apologetic nor humble. They are overpriced for the kind of offerings on the menu and their rude attitude.

I just want to compliment the new manager. They were out of the cherry danish for my online order and when I showed up, he ended up giving me an extra croissant for my inconvenience. I appreciated this!

If you are looking for a quaint morning date spot this is absolutely for you. My husband and I enjoyed such a lovely, quiet morning enjoying delicious food and absolutely mouth-watering sweets. They had absolutely wonderful service, and they have a wonderful sitting area with plenty of space from other tables.

I came in on a Sunday just to pick up some pastries. Long line, poor guy was doing walk-in orders and delivery orders as well. There was a whole bunch of food just sitting on the counter that was for pick up but he also had so many people just walking up he didnt have time to get orders together. He was trying his best but the demand was too much. Management should have had prepared more for a sunday. One person to fulfill online orders and one for guests walking in or have someone help him so he can catch up. The young lady there just kept bringing him orders that were ready and placing them on his station instead of maybe taking 5 minutes to just help him pack up. I waited 20 minutes to just order two croissants. Management schedule more people.

This is our 2nd time here, and the first time we were rushed as we were ordering- the cashier kept asking if that would complete our order. But the rest of the experience was good. Super understaffed- so waiting for our soup and grilled cheese took 30 mins. This 2nd time was probably the last string. Different cashier, kept asking us “is that it” while ordering. We started out with saying a bowl and a cup it soup and a grilled cheese. They brought us 1 cup. I told her (the cashier who brought us our food) we also ordered a bowl of soup and she told us “we didn’t specify that” and just stood there- I said we did, we asked for a bowl and a cup. She continued to look at me while my grandmother said it was fine, I said no you are starving. She just walked away. We will not be coming back to this location Foods good though.

I am deeply disappointed with the declining standard of service at the La Madeleine establishment I once held in high regard. My recent experience has been nothing short of abysmal, compounding my existing frustrations amidst a demanding academic schedule and deteriorating health. As a diligent STEM major facing imminent physics and organic chemistry examinations, time is of the essence. In an effort to alleviate the burden of meal preparation during this critical period, I sought the convenience of a to-go order from La Madeleine. However, my expectations were dashed as they failed to fulfill the entirety of my order, neglecting essential components of my meal.Financial constraints exacerbate the situation, rendering dining out a luxury I cannot afford. Yet, circumstances compelled me to deviate from prudent spending habits due to incapacitating illness and time constraints. The omission of the steak portion, the main portion of my meal, coupled with the incomplete delivery of desserts, is utterly unacceptable. One would reasonably anticipate that payment for a meal entitles one to its complete contents. At this juncture, my primary concern is sustenance to sustain me through a demanding week fraught with academic commitments in the STEM field and recuperation from illness, precipitated by relentless studying and community service endeavors amidst adverse weather conditions (cold and rainy weather at an outdoor event).Regrettably, my once-favorable perception of this establishment has been marred by its evident decline in quality and service standards. Such negligence is profoundly frustrating, particularly in light of the pivotal role sustenance plays in maintaining my energy levels and facilitating recovery.I am now bereft of money to replace the food that this restaurant failed to provide in the first place. I checked to make sure all of the boxes were there and there were the same number of boxes as meals I had ordered in my bag. However, I assume they split up parts of the order into different boxes as I did not receive everything I paid for. I did not have time to sit and individually open each box and I felt like I was going to pass out and throw up. It is reasonably also not my job to make sure everything I paid for is in my bag but rather the establishment's job.

Not worth the very expensive prices at all. Ordered to go and the parfait that is almost $10 had about 10 strawberries and a little lid full of yogurt, not even the granola or blueberries it is supposed to come with. The avocado toast was so chewy, the bacon was cold and not crisp just kinda soggy and the eggs were overcooked and they are clearly scared of seasoning. Very abysmal food for how much it cost.

One of the kitchen guys came out itching his armpit, which was very unsanitary, plus he didn't look that professional who loves his job, Unfortunately, it happened we we finished eating. That's why it's only 2 stars.
