There were only a couple other patrons while I was there, so it was generally quiet, though the music was fairly loud, but I actually enjoyed it. The handmade art is beautiful, but the seating could use some sprucing (rips in cushions). The lighting wasn't the best, so the overall atmosphere wasn't the Most inviting, but I was there alone & honestly didn't mind. I don't speak much Spanish, but was able to get everything I wanted (I mostly spoke broken Spanish to my waitress, but there was an English-speaking waitress there, as well). The chips & salsa hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but very good. The food was Delicious, though, and though a Bit pricey, there were very good sized portions, and I was happy that the rice, beans, & lettuce were served with a bit of pico de gallo & a couple slices of avocado. I'm sure it's not the Best Mexican restaurant in Austin, but for being walking distance from my hotel, I was Very pleased, and will return again to try a different meal, likely something with seafood because that seems to be their specialty. I got the chile rellenos with pollo this time & was quite satisfied.

The food was DELISH!!! Nothing fancy but had a great home cooked flavor!!!! Vuelve ala vida had me wanting more! The prepared beer had a little of everything and so refreshing. Our waitress was the BEST! She made sure we had everything and service was 100%

Wow, I'm always looking for a good place to eat but this one was super expensive. After getting the best seafood broth (the BEST) I wanted to go to my car and give a recommendation for this place, my surprise was great, I will leave photos because I don't know how to rate it. I will have to pay dearly because I did not warn that it is not a safe area. The truth is that there is no one responsible and I bet that the cameras are useless because the owner was immediately informed and his response was not very concerned about wanting to help me with this (I think his cameras do not work).

Parking: Parking risks your vehicle both for space, whether they have a truck and alcohol is consumed on site, it is possible that a customer will break your car when leaving, as well as the entire neighborhood is surrounded by space people (men or street people ) highly dangerous. And the restaurant is not responsible for your car.

Service was poor. We had to get our own menus and we were forgotten for a while before someone came to take our order. The food portion was large and pricing was great but it lacked flavor.

Food was nasty without flavor, restaurant was super hot, waitress never got us refills, super expensive and had to pay extra for using my debit card to pay.

Parking: We were the only ones there

The worst dinner I've ever had! The hot drinks, the waitress' customer service was terrible, she left and came back 15 minutes later to take the order... She brought the first dish, we finished eating and 26 minutes later the other one.... We tried to cancel the 2nd dish and He said he couldn't. Actually I don't recommend it at all. Terrible service and place. No wonder he was alone when we arrived.

The seafood is excellent, excellent seasoning and fresh, I got carried away by the reviews and almost didn't go, but it is excellent, I ordered many seafood dishes and they were all excellent. The service too, attentive and friendly.

Good service but with meats like t-bone, the meat is very tough, the truth is I don't like it
