I wanted to like this place, I haven't been in over 10 years. But I was in the area and hungy. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I ordered a simple 4 tacos. 2 bacon egg and cheese, and 2 bean egg and cheese. See photo. The order was almost half right. No beans in my taco? And one of my bacon had a piece of green, not sure what it is. But that tells me they are not keeping their grill clean. And it wasnt busy so no way they were making a ton of orders. I almost gave them one star but at least my tacos were hot and cooked right.

Food is..okay. old building but very clean..service is fair not exceptional. Has a bar as well. Got a botanas plate. Poppers were too spicy to even eat. Cheese dip was very salty as we're the chips..the beef fajita nachos were good. The quesadilla was just short of a cheese sandwich on tortilla..eh..the taquito was good..home made..tasty. with as many good places as there are in Austin for Mexican and tex mex food..I will probably not be back to this one. It's just not wonderful 😕

Excellent food! Really nice place to eat casual but beautiful inside and comfortable. I can't recommend enough to stuffed chile relleno if you put picadillo inside and get it topped with queso and sour cream sauce it's amazing! And the portion is so big I can eat it for two or three meals! I also highly recommend fajitas with chicken, beef, shrimp and sausage! The charro beans are the best so take the chance and don't get the refried!! I would also recommend the chicken dishes!!! The epitome of real Tex-Mex that also feels authentic! The alcoholic drinks are also huge and really strong! I recommend Mexican Martini or the La palapa purple margarita!

The food is always good. The waitress, not so much. She didnt listen to my order request and gave me extra sauce, then expected me to pay for it. I would have still given her a tip, but she was super rude. Girl bye!
Don’t order online cause they will take forever and not even say why/apologize. Portions are also small.

The staff at this restaurant are very kind and friendly and that goes a long way with me, especially nowadays because people seem more uncomfortable being nice but this restaurant is great. The food is very very good and the I gotta shout out their margaritas, they are extremely good and not that expensive either. Easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in my area of Austin Texas. Come here a few times a month and I recommend this place to anyone to try them out!!
