Really good food. I've been coming here with my family for a while and haven't been able to come eat here in a while, but we recently came back and the food just gets better. I ordered their chilaquiles with carne asada and this place just knows how to make them.
Will continue to keep coming and enjoying the food!

This place was delicious! Sopes, chalupa, chips, salsa, relleno, carne guisada, and enchiladas: ALL GOOD. Service was totally fine, we got checked on by multiple people. Pay at the counter, I believe. Don't be one of those idiots who sits around getting angry because you're afraid to ask questions or get up out of your seat. (I swear, some of you review writers LOVE finding things to whine about, South Park hit the nail on the head.) From what I could tell they do quite a bit of takeout orders, and perhaps they only do takeout an hour before close. We didn't have any of the michelada drinks, BUT THEY LOOKED INCREDIBLE. I was jealous. Next I will try their breakfast tacos. They offer 3 for $4.99 (2 ingredients, all three the same.) That's a good deal. 🙂

I went today with expectations to get something great to eat as I was hungry from a full day of work.
I ordered a mix fajita which in the menu looked like a great dish worth $21.
However, when I got the dish, it was very small, first disappointment.
Second and the most atrocious part is that the dish had a weird smell. At first I thought it was the table where I was at, or maybe a funky smell from a trash bin. I kept eating the beef and chicken. Then I shared a piece with my girlfriend and she almost threw up. She then smelled the chicken and that was the bad smell. That’s a very bad sign. Hopefully I don’t get food poisoning or I will report these to the Marshall and health department.
Then, after stating this to the staff, they charged me $28. No apologies, no restitutions.
I will never go back to that place. So be aware!!!!

Delish food! The best tripa taco.

Gave me the worst food poisoning and at checkout it was more than listed on the menu.

I have been a regular at La Playa for a while now. My favorite time to eat there, however, is breakfast.

I just love their salsas and they way they cook their eggs and potatoes.

On this occasion, I wanted the Chicharron and Egg. I thought the chicharron was cooked perfect. It was soft but still had a slight crunch which is how I like it. They were also nice enough to accommodate my request for nopales on the side (which was also tasty).

I look forward to more great service and delicious meals in this cute little strip mall restaurant.

Very friendly staff, and very fresh ceviche con tilapia. Fish tacos were good, great sauce, very fresh veggies, Def worth a stop. (Ask them for their recommend)!

This is my second visit and I have to say, it's been great each time. Food is great! That eggplant seafood dish is amazing! Shrimp cocktail is one to go to from now on! And mariachis! This was Friday night.
