Walking in one would have thought they were in for a great experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The brisket was dry and lacked flavour. The cornbread was mediocre. The fries were tasteless. To ensure consistency the service was spotty and awkward. So many great BBQ places to choose from, so skip this one.

Upscale BBQ is their thing and they pull it off. Beef ribs were huge and flavorful. Pricey though.

It was just too cold to sit outside on the patio this past Saturday. I think if there were a door on the patio that it could keep the heat in a little bit, it would work. Our server was wonderful and brought us blankets. But we just were freezing.

The brisket was very good. The sausage had an unpleasant taste. The baby back ribs were meaty, but terribly dry. The borracho beans looked like and tasted like Van de Camps canned baked beans. With all the BBQ places in Austin, I would not recommend this place

Everything was very spicy. Must be the rub that is used. Probably just fine for a Texan, but we're from the Midwest. Biggest disappointment was the old fashioned. Figured a nice place like that would make a good old fashioned with a proper large cube of ice. But nope. Medium old fashioned filled with loose ice. Expect that in a dive bar. Not in a nice restaurant

Really great barbecue restaurant in Austin, with a lovely team and excellent service. The atmosphere is fantastic, a really lively place and the perfect spot for a good meal. Was the first day of the first time in Austin and an amazing introduction to a fantastic city with great people.

Fresh ceviche, amazing barbecue and arguably the best pale ale I had in Austin over 5 days.

Prices a bit steeper than other places but well worth it as the quality and experience exceeds expectations. Will definitely be returning next time in Austin.

Location is good, easily walkable from a lot of the main spots in town.

I had the happy hour brisket sandwich and queso. Both were delicious. I will definitely return for the food. The only thing I thought was odd was that a single well/house whiskey was about the same price as their signature cocktails ($15), which is something I’ve never experienced anywhere, but good to know—next time I’ll just get a cocktail.

The food, drinks, service and vibe here are consistently good. Portions of food are substantial too. Good value during happy hour, but the happy hour time window is a bit short and menu is somewhat limited.

The location is great too if you’re going to ACL Live (Moody Theater) or 3TEN.

The wild boar ribs I my favorite app. And the beef ribs for dinner are incredible. When they have the bone in NY strip on the menu it is a must order because it is so damn good - usually for New Year’s Eve for certain.

A solid four stars!

As always Lamberts was outstanding. Drinks excellent. Steaks excellent. And the pie was outstanding.

I ordered the special which was 6 oz beef filet with 2 prawns head and shell on, which was clearly stated. One of the prawns was totally empty, and the other was half meat, like the other half was pulled out. I told the waiter, who told the chef who said “sometimes that happens”. I was shocked at his answer! They did not offer replacement prawns or any adjustment to our bill. Very disappointing experience!

The brisket was definitely the most tender I ever had. The flavor profile wasn't 100% spot on I believe due to the server bringing it out at room temp., but it was melt in your mouth tender. The ventilation definitely could be better, the smoke is pretty intense.
