Lavaca Street Bar - South Lamar

All 3 locations have a good vibe. Plenty of TVs and easy to get what you need from staff. This is the chillest of the Lavacas in my experience, and the only one that has Thunderchief — highly recommend the burgers.

why is this even happening ??? where’s the health inspector ???

We just ended another year of watching the Jacksonville Jaguars here and the staff have been amazing every minute. So much love for Wayne, Aaliyah, Hannah, Steph, Erika, Micaela, Trevor, Bee, Donald, and Beau! Hands down the best bar in town.

Ignore the lame Karen’s from Reddit coming to complain about a dog they didn’t see at a bar they’ve never been to. That Yorkie is a staple of the community and can sit wherever he wants. The Karens can go back to California. Levaca Street is a dope sports bar with great food and I want to come here even more now that I know I might see Rex.

The bar allowed a dog on the bar top. This is a health violation. Will never be going back because who knows what else worse they allow. Need to call the health department to look into all this.

THIS IS A BAR THAT SHOWS HOCKEY… Wild. It is so refreshing to walk into a bar and have a place that can actually show an NHL game on the NHL package. I’ve been looking for a place that will show the Blues games and they had it on with no problem. I imagine they would put any other game on as well. Thank you Donald for the service and the fantastic management for making it happen. The Blues are a very important part of my family, even when they are terrible, so thank you!!!! 10/10 recommend for service, food, and drinks.

Love the service here, the bartenders are legit the best. Beau and Donald are certified pros! They always turn my knicks game on for me as soon as they see me walk in the door, sad part is the leadership decided to cancel the NBA League pass. Super sad story. I hope it has a happy ending and they can get it back asap, they've been pushing to get it back for me and all my friends that come here to watch the games at least 4 times a week. BRING BACK NBA LEAGUE PASS PLEASE!

Bo and don always got us on the games but recently the nba league pass wasn’t renewed by the higher ups. What are they thinking!? Need them to bring it back asap. It’s a sports bar. We need access to certain games not just whatever is on the main channels.
