Was physically assaulted by ceo and owner of Lazydaze Counterculture, Hans Enriquez. He never pays his employees on time, sometimes a month at a time. And when confronted by employees about receiving payment, he resorts to violence, such as trying to choke you.

I used to be a frequent flyer when I lived in Austin, so I wanted to stop by and see what’s new. I just stopped by and left because after standing at the register, the guy the behind the counter didn’t even acknowledged me. A “I’ll be right with you” or “hello” goes so far. We even made eye contact, so it’s not that I wasn’t seen. He just went about making drinks and helping others. It’s unfortunate because this isn’t the Lazydaze I remember when Hans used to work the register.

Great coffee and drinks! The baristas are also super nice and helpful! I appreciate that this space isn’t crowded and there’s a good variety of seating options with outlets. I do wish they’d more consistently open a door or window when folks are smoking inside (they have opened something 1/3 times I’ve been so far) but it does seem to have decent ventilation otherwise.

Interesting coffee selection but tastes good. I got hype when I had one of their mushroom coffees. They have 2 house guitars with a tuner for some reason and a sick homemade speaker that sounds really awesome. They have Cards Against Humanity. 10/10

Service and selection were phenomenal. The environment was super welcoming and the staff member that helped me was thorough and helpful. After hearing it was first time there he took the time to explain everything and was patient while I was making up my mind. Definitely will be coming back!
