Tired of corporate themed, strip mall type places trying to be hip? Here's a great option for breakfast and anything else. Hit the spot. During the low season, it's not too crowded and service great. As a couple, we got a sweet and savory crepe. It was quite a delicious combo. Coffee was great.

My first time at Cafe Crepe. I originally wanted to try another restaurant around the corner but nothing on their menu appealed to me.

Then I found this little cafe only a few hundred yards away. Being French myself and a crepes afficionado, I had to try.

Atmosphere: small cute place with small French cafe tables inside. More seating available outside (see pictures)

Food: I ordered the Crepe de Paris. Although the crepe tasted like a real French crepe, I found the filling to be bland. Tasteless Swiss cheese (not gruyere) and bland jambon de Paris (ham) did not work for me. My mocha drink was barely warm.

Service: friendly and informal.

Altogether, a pleasant but not special experience.

Serves savory and sweet crapes. Our waitress Emilda was the best! She was very friendly and suggested perfect items. For dessert ask for a kid's portion sweet crape, perfect if you started with a savory as a meal. The outdoor seating was ok, there is a variety of furniture, some more comfortable than others.

I found Le Café Crepe when I was walking over to a convenience store. I mentioned it to my daughter and we decided to give it a shot.

The restaurant is small, but offers ample outdoor seating. The menu offered a wide variety of options. My daughter and I both chose the La Norwegian, which had smoked salmon, capers, tomato, and boursin cheese. It was quite good and the portion was bigger than expected.

Our server was very sweet.

It was a nice little place to grab a bite to eat!

Very cool breakfast place. The service was fast and friendly, portions great and food amazing! I had an omelette but saw someone else eat a croissant and it looked amazing as well.

This was our first restaurant in Austin. I know what you are thinking you picked a French restaurant in Austin. We did and it was great breakfast! Everyone in my party loved their food. I ordered a side small fruit salad and it was the best fruit salad with lots of different fruit and it was fresh!!

My friends and I stopped by for a quick breakfast and coffee in the morning. What a charming little spot in downtown Austin! It had a nice patio, and we enjoyed some tasty crepes. I had a crepe with a side of bacon, and I would definitely try another one if I came back. Everyone said the coffee tasted good, too.

Stopped by Le Café Crêpe for brunch and left totally charmed. I had the La Norwegian savory crêpe (smoked salmon, Boursin cheese, tomato & herbs) and a Chloe’s crêpe for dessert (Nutella + strawberries) — both were fresh, beautifully plated, and exactly what I hoped for from a French café. The Café au lait was also silky and well balanced.

The staff was warm and patient, helping me choose between so many tempting options. The ambiance — a cozy Parisian café feel tucked in downtown — made it an ideal spot to unwind. I’ll definitely be back to try the La Fromagère or Pomme Cannelle next time!
