I love their vegan chocolate ice cream!!

Summer Armistead

We stopped in tonight at 720ish. The ice cream had a good flavor, but the portions were very different with 2 different people scooping. Picture is mine vs my husband's small. This was $15. If mine had been as full as his, it might have seemed worth it.

Exceptionally good ice cream. Especially the goat cheese. Sometimes unique flavors rely too much on the novelty and gimmick, but this Lick's goat cheese is actually really good and worth checking out!

Great ice cream! Friendly staff as well!

For sure my fav ice cream shop in Austin - way better than Amy’s or Jenni’s. Not too sweet, VERY fun flavors that consistently taste great, and reasonable prices and sizes (“single scoop” for ~$4 and a perfect amount)

I love this ice cream shop! My husband and I stopped by after taking our son to the park and we loved the dark chocolate with olive oil and sea salt. Staff were super sweet and attentive. We tried several other flavors and they were all delicious but I was feeling the dark chocolate at the moment lol we will be going back for pints to keep in our freezer 🩵

Fantastic ice cream served by the fantastic Marge- who is always so welcoming and . friendly. We look forward to seeing her as much as treating ourselves to the ice cream!

What a perfect day to be in ice cream business. The high is 95 degrees hot but not hot enough to stay inside. Shade will do.

I tried the cookies and cream (seasonal) and coffee. Very refreshing, especially since all the ingredients are natural. Can’t go wrong here.

I usually really love Lick’s and have been supporting them since the start, but the staff at this particular location left a bad taste in my mouth. On Google it still shows that they close at 11PM and we got there at 10:02PM, the store lead saw us outside and locked the door right away saying they close at 10PM and that we looked at the wrong hours and it was for Saturday. I showed them that they needed to update their hours and on their listing and all three staff members didn’t show any remorse nor did they apologize. We made the 20 minute trip from Round Rock since they specifically opened later. Will definitely not come back to this location, will only go to the Burnet and South Lamar where the staff is more friendly and accommodating.

Affordable as far as boutique ice cream shops go (3.99 for a “single scoop” which actually turned out to be quite a large portion, pictured below). Also very nice that the cups and spoons are all compostable. Why I feel compelled to leave a review is that the ice cream actually tastes like what it is supposed to be — usually, if I see something that is basil flavored for example I don’t really expect it to taste all that much like basil and my suspicion as to why this is is that while a lot of people like the idea of these aromatic, challenging flavors, they don’t actually like them in practice. This is all to say the blackberry lime basil ice cream was very basil-forward and I appreciated this boldness. The peach and blueberry ice creams tasted very fresh as well.

Non dairy chocolate chocolate hit my sweet spot! They give military discount! Such a nice place to grab ice cream and walk around in the quaint area!

We just had the most awful and disgraceful milk chocolate ice cream. None of my six family members liked it. You must find another recipe for the most basic ice cream flavor in the world.
