Delicious Gorditas! I got the Gorditas with mushroom and they were great. A lot of flavor and packed! I also got the Brussels sprouts which were a little too salty for me. But I am excited to try more of their menu!

We loved it, including my 6 yr old! We never find flutas suitable for vegetarians, now we did!! Tacos we're great too. Everything was well seasoned and delicious. Glad we tried this food truck on a whim!

I wanted to love this place but I have to say its only 'meh'. Flavors are bland and they apply an automatic tip/service charge which taxes get added on top of.

Y'all- this place is stellar. I tried nachos and flautas, and while I'm typically unable to eat much, I HOUSED this entire meal and app. I feel like it's perfect after a night of, say, having an adult beverage or two..try it out for yourself

Really didn't want to write this, but I'm so disappointed. I will say that the flautas I had were good. What was disappointing was 1. The guy working spoke zero English. We had questions on the menu but weren't able to get them answered. The guy was not friendly AT ALL. He didn't even announce anything when our orders were ready. I just noticed a few bags in the window. 2. I ordered a topo Chico and when I grabbed my food and tried asking him for my topo, I came to the conclusion that there were no more topo's. I decided I would message the restaurant to see if I could get a credit, instead of just posting a bad review. First they question if I actually paid for the topo, then I sent them evidence that I did, and they leave me on read. Not cool. Won't be coming back.

If you’re a mexican vegan and want to taste real, authentic mexican food, don’t go here. Prices are too high for such small portions. Definitely a mexican food experience meant for white people.

I had the seitan steak burrito and I loved it! It was a large portion and the sauce inside was great. I raved about it for days afterwards. It was at the Hive coffee shop location.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointing, as it had been quite hyped. Although I love the idea, and it was certainly tasty, I thought the tortillas were a let down. I would think if you're offering up vegan Mexican, tortillas (100% plant based) should be excellent. I'm sure people will still love this place and I would come back, just doesn't complete with my top Mexican restaurants (and it's not just due to the "protein").

This place is incredible. The nachos are amazing and I've had all the tacos and stuff and every one was incredible. Their use of pickling for onions and the green pepper in the nachos gives it so much flavor, and their use of thick masa for gorditas is incredible and I've not seen that done elsewhere. The coconut crema and smoky queso are both incredible. Not a duplicate of their non-vegan counterparts but a thing of their own. Honestly the flavors are a knockout. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had, period.

I grew up in El Paso so I wanted to support this place. I cannot tell you how absolutely delish the food was. Lick it Up serves real Mexican food and the best part is it's plant based. The tortillas are made in house and their tostada chips are fried right when you order them. Nothing was greasy and the ingredients were very fresh. The gorditas were stuffed with mushroom chorizo and tasted so authentic. That's a real Mexican dish that you don't find at any Tex mex places in Austin, proving this place is legit. The filling was perfect. It had a real meat like consistency and I will 100% be back for those again in a few days. The flautas were topped with this unique and flavorful coconut lime crema and crispy cabbage. I have never had anything like it before. What a great and yummy idea. I also tried the carne asada taco which was also an amazingly delish. Overall I felt the combinations of flavors were layered beautifully and I will go back again in a few days to try all the other things I wanted on the menu. Do yourself a favor and make a trip to Lick It Up because they are serving up fantastic plant based food.
