Peruvian food is truly delicious and internationally renowned. I visited and ordered a causa limeña, a seafood platter (ronda marina), an Inca Kola, a Pilsen beer, and a Pisco Sour. Unfortunately, the service from Miss Denise and her colleague was very inattentive and unprofessional.
The Pisco Sour, which normally follows the standard recipe of 3 oz pisco, 1 oz lime juice, 1 oz simple syrup, and 1/2 oz egg white, was poorly prepared — it tasted like lemonade, half the glass was foam, and it was bland. When I asked for a replacement, I was told I could get a “normal” one, but at an extra cost, as if the mistake was mine.
It’s disappointing to see that such a rich and celebrated cuisine isn’t always matched by the service, especially abroad.

Fantastic food and service. Authentic cuisine with Peruvian spices that surprise you. Real flavors with polite staff that make this almost a homemade meal experience.

I ordered a lomo saltado to-go. It didn’t taste like a lomo saltado. It was bland (little or no salt), no soy sauce taste and/or wine/porto or other type of alcohol beverage to enhance the seasoning as some restaurants like to do. The beef was not cut against the fiber neither but it seem to be a good beef just not prepared well. I will try another dish at some point. Otherwise service personnel were nice and polite.

This is the type of place where I would honestly keep going back and ordering just to try new things because everything on the menu looks amazing as has been everything I’ve tried so far.

Came here for my birthday the server was so nice and gave me balloons! This time: arroz con pollo, which was cilantro rice really good; aguadito, both of these dishes had the dark meat chicken which was my favorite. Estofado de pollo was more white meat and I didn’t like it as much this time but it is still really exceptional I’ve had that one a lot. Previously aji de gallina is something really different if you want to try something new. And of course pisco sours I will allways come back for those.

The food was so delicious and honestly the best peruvian food I’ve had in Texas. We had the Passion fruit pisco sour and it was so delicious!

I returned to Lima Criolla after a few years and regret doing so. Service was poor—the waitress was disengaged and had poor customer service, never thanked us, and paid more attention to the bar staff than to her customers. The lomo saltado was dry and chewy, and the ceviche had an unusual cumin-heavy flavor. We were also served a pisco sour we didn’t order. Overall, a very disappointing visit. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The food was overly salty, and while the atmosphere was acceptable, the service did not meet my expectations. Overall, the quality and taste of the food were disappointing.

The yellow peppers spiced was overwhelming, is supposed to be a touch not the whole ingredient.
Peruvian pollo a la brasa ok very small chicken.
Lomo saltado was the best dish ordered
Papa a la huancaina is a starter but the potatoes were hot, the sauce too watery
Ahi de gallina too spicy too eat
So it was the linguine a la huancaina
Lomo a lo pobre is was ok the steak was small too much fries and rice.
Overall needs improvement
