We need more places like this around the city for families with kids!
(There was no bathroom, or maybe I didn’t see it)
The lady at Bésame was so kind to the moms

We had a great experience here! My 3 & 6 yo daughters (and 3 mo son) and I went on a Friday night close to 5pm and the place was pretty empty (until about 20 minutes later). The atmosphere is so quaint and beautiful, the turfed field with a little tunnel, chalkboard, and sports balls was great for the littles, the snow cone place wasn't open but Besame and Veracruz were open til 8. From Veracruz we ordered the Al Pastor Taco, Grilled Fish Taco, and breakfast tacos (requested just bacon, egg & cheese) and they came out in a timely manner and were very tasty - the side sauces are a bit spicy but yum! From Besame we ordered the Mint Cookie Monster and some coffee flavored one I can't remember the name of and they were both delicious! Kind of pricey though, the kid size is $5.75 for like one scoop. The staff at both places were friendly and answered any questions. There is a bathroom located outside of the fenced area in the apartment complex, and parking is not great, although when we went we didn't have any issues. If we lived closer, we would definitely frequent this place more often!

Came like 5 pm, got a single scoop and went back for another one. 10/10. Slower in the evenings with misters/fans, WiFi, and good vibes. Must try.

We really wanted to love this place. Its perfect for toddler to run around and play while you enjoy some delicious tacos. But the cashier at Littlefields almost ruined the experience. He was rude to me when I had questions about the menu, to my grandma when she asked for extra ice, and my husband when he was trying to buy a juice for my daughter. 5 star food with zero star service. I hope the tip goes to the cooks.

If you’re planning on taking your kids, be aware that they may simply have reserved the entire play area for a private event.
My husband and I were excited to try this place with our toddler, specially because of the fenced little yard, but we left as soon as we got there and learned that he wouldn’t be able to enjoy the space because of a birthday celebration happening there.
It is extremely rude the way this business will not provide any kind of heads up on their online page about this possibility, but just let us drive there to find a sign letting us know that our children will not be able to play.
Very disappointing experience and definitely not trying again.
Fun place, great outdoor space, Very pricey, but food and coffee were good. Keep your coffee order simple, $2 charge for alternative milk. I'd give them a 3.5 if Google allowed it

cashier is trash
Great spot to bring the kids when you really need a break and they want to play. Grab a cappuccino, Veracruz taco, and snow cone and let them run around like a wild child on the fenced in astroturf.
Minimal danger hazards means you can take your eye off them for more than 2+ seconds at a time.
Sometimes the vibe feels stiflingly bougie, but still worth it for the caffeinated taco break.

Don't go on an empty stomach, prepare to wait 30 min - 45 min for your tacos. Tacos are over priced, only ordered one per person and I was still hungry afterwards, had to run to Cheba hut for something more filling. Coffee was bland, not the best I've had. Place was overpacked when I went. It's not all that, I will not be returning.
Everything is on point,Food, ambience and service …, If you are at Mount bonell and looking for food,It is most recommended ❤️

West Austin neighborhood parking nightmare nanny hub sans coffee is a real hard way to get Veracruz tacos or a cookie.

I like the atmosphere, it's all outdoors and relatively quiet. There are like 8 or 10 picnic tables and then several other seats. The coffee was good and seemed to be priced similarly to other coffee shops - I paid around $7.50 for a 3 shot latte. Was a pretty good latte but nothing to go crazy for. Then I got 2 tacos that were very good but too expensive in my opinion. I've paid around $15 for 2 tacos that were relatively small which is way too much compared to other options around. Lots of people bring their kids to play and run around the turf which isn't bad because it's separated from the picnic tables. I'm not sure how comfortable this place would be in the summer because I went in February.
Parking: They have several spots in a lot or there are neighborhoods nearby for street parking
