West Austin neighborhood parking nightmare nanny hub sans coffee is a real hard way to get Veracruz tacos or a cookie.

I like the atmosphere, it's all outdoors and relatively quiet. There are like 8 or 10 picnic tables and then several other seats. The coffee was good and seemed to be priced similarly to other coffee shops - I paid around $7.50 for a 3 shot latte. Was a pretty good latte but nothing to go crazy for. Then I got 2 tacos that were very good but too expensive in my opinion. I've paid around $15 for 2 tacos that were relatively small which is way too much compared to other options around. Lots of people bring their kids to play and run around the turf which isn't bad because it's separated from the picnic tables. I'm not sure how comfortable this place would be in the summer because I went in February.

Parking: They have several spots in a lot or there are neighborhoods nearby for street parking

Visited here today and absolutely LOVED the atmosphere and yummy coffee and food - who doesn't love a Veracruz taco?! The avocado hashbrown from coffee and cookies was delish, but came with a side of sass from the barista. She was very rude and acted as if we were bothering her.

Veracruz staff were very friendly. Patrons were lovely and lots of kids having fun on the play area, including mine. There's a chalk board and turf area with a tunnel that my kids loved. The picnic tables are nice and there are some in the play area with some trees shading them as well as covered ones on the patio.

Parking was a bit scarce... About half of it was tenant parking or a "no parking" curb, which most people ignored. There are signs reserving spots for Littlefield, but they were all taken when we arrived (on a Thursday at 930am).

Trash everywhere. All trash cans over flowing, trash on tables, on the ground, pushed into the fence etc. Space could/should be cute without the added filth.
Tacos good enough but small. The girl taking my order was trying to do several things at once causing her attention to the customer (me) to miss things I was trying to order, and asking me to repeat myself. I also got a watermelon juice which was good but apparently it only comes in the size of a big gulp which is ridiculous and entirely too much as an only option.
Snow cone was bland and not enough flavor added to ice. No chalk at the provided board for kids to use.
Not easy to get water for dog
Would not go again, would not be recommend especially if you have to drive there.

Easy, casual food trailer park. There's a turf play area for kiddos, picnic tables in the shade and option of Veracruz (huge) Tacos, Smoothies and Juice or Cookie Rich for sweets and coffees.

Great tacos, coffee was very weak. My iced latte was totally white and tasted like straight milk. Good space for kids <4.

All around want more places like this in Austin. The peaceful atmosphere and chill clientele.I do wish the tacos were open after 3 pm to get that dinner rush. And there is no WiFi as of April 2024, which was frustrating at first, but now I appreciate that it aligns well with the ambiance of unplugging and playing with your kids. The place isn’t taken over by remote workers on laptops. ?‍?-> ?Love!

Very good food and coffees. Independent businesses for tacos, coffees, and biscuits. Way above average food, not fast for sure. Wonderful play area for the little ones. Great place to meet for a weekend play date!

Kid-friendliness: Designed to keep the kids busy!

The young girl with black glasses bad costumer service 2:08 3/29/2024 It's a shame that it was the first time I went eat there I didn't know what to order and the girl answered me in a very bad way. Of course you have to treat people well, but it's my last time and I'll go there to that place again.

Unfortunately, Google said it was open Friday until 7pm. The kids drove with me here for a special treat, but the gate was locked. The location looks super cute. It is nice it is gated for kids. My friend, our kids, and I were bummed. I requested a correction on Google hopefully. 5 star for atmosphere. Hopefully, we can come back next time we are in town.
