Cocktail menu was lackluster and not well balanced. Bartenders weren't prepared to make basic classic cocktails. Servers were not knowledgeable or able to offer suggestions based on guest preferences. Decent pop up bar. Bad speakeasy
I thoroughly enjoyed the speakeasy experience. The atmosphere was lively, and the drinks and service were exceptional.
Limited drink menu Minimal seasonal decorations Neat themed event and nice welcome drink but the feel wasn't quite there. Sat outside on the balcony and all the seating around fireplace was taken.
It was nice, just ok. Difficult to call from the desk area. No one answered. Had to have the desk answer. 3 drinks $80? No value. No one dressed for a speak easy experience. Typical Austin crowd. Not worth it wont return
The tea was not out of this world. Regular tea. The food was average. Some of it my friends and I didn't eat it bc they were too bland. In overall the experience was ok. I've been to better tea experiences and cheaper. The seated us in the lobby of the hotel which bc they said they didn't have tables on the back for 5 people, which I found silly bc it's easy to put 2 tables together. Anyway, if you can go in the evening bc the lights in the outdoor is the only thing worth the hassle of going downtown. It's not spectacular, but it gives the holidays vibes.
Intimate and comfortable outdoor space that creates an upscale laid-back vibe. The great food and beverage offerings match that feel.
The service and our waiter were wonderful. The tea pots were beautiful but for the price of the tea there was so little food! You get to choose one tea cocktail one tea and food. I would rather them out the money from the cocktail Into the food. And pay extra for booze. It was just in the lobby of the hotel so nothing fancy I won't be coming back but I do appreciate our server for being so kind
Everything was lovely! The service was excellent. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought us a little treat for the birthday girl. I would certainly recommend.
Our ATEAX experience was wonderful. We had delicious small sandwiches, desserts, tea and a cocktail. We were celebrating a special birthday and it could've have been more lovely.
The Live Oak Bar at the Four Seasons Austin is the definition of refined relaxation. From the moment you walk in, you’re enveloped in a calm, polished atmosphere that feels both luxurious and unpretentious. The interior is tastefully designed—subtle textures, warm lighting, and a layout that invites conversation or quiet reflection. Step outside, and you’re met with a breathtaking view of Lady Bird Lake framed by lush greenery—an ideal backdrop for an afternoon cocktail or a slow, serene evening.
The drinks were exceptional—each one crafted with precision and intention. Whether ordering a classic or something more inventive, the bartenders delivered balanced, elegant cocktails with a strong sense of character. There’s a quiet confidence in their craft that really stood out. I appreciated how knowledgeable and personable they were, always ready to explain a flavor profile or offer a recommendation without being pushy or distant.
Heather, our server, was truly wonderful—gracious, professional, and incredibly kind. She anticipated our needs without hovering and made us feel genuinely welcomed. It’s rare to encounter someone who makes such a lasting impression through subtle, thoughtful service. Everyone we encountered, from bar staff to management, carried that same standard of hospitality—attentive without being performative, present without pressure.
This isn’t just a hotel bar—it’s a full experience of Austin at its most elegant.
Whether you’re a guest or just dropping by for a drink, Live Oak sets the bar (literally) for how great service, stunning ambiance, and beautifully made cocktails can come together. I’ll absolutely be returning.

We always enjoy our stay with the Four Seasons. Our entire experience throughout our stay was amazing and we look forward to returning soon.
I would not recommend this tea. There are better tea options in Austin, the food was very disappointing.
We had a great time hanging out on the patio as the sun was setting. It's not a bad place to see the bats from, but also not the best place to see the bats from. The outside temperature and ambiance was so nice for catch up with friends!!

The service was wonderful once the tea time started—we had a little confusion upon arriving (no one to direct or greet us, had to track someone down to ask where the tea service was held). The food and beverage options were lovely—an impressive array of sweet and savory bites. This is one of the most affordable afternoon tea services in town, and even being at the Four Seasons, very relaxed and approachable!
Dalton was incredibly. Service was top tier, extremely pleasant.
