Hidden Flask is a speakeasy at the Four Seasons that is a hidden treasure! Beautiful views, great drinks and good music that set the tone.
The ATex holiday tea was a disappointment for me and my guests. Maybe it's because we went toward the end of the season, but it just didn't feel like the kind of experience I have come to expect of the Four Seasons, in general. The teas were lovely. The food was just fine, with maybe one standout bite. The service was really non-existent - we waited a long time after our food came out and had to ask to order tea. Then we had to ask for more hot water after multiple signals. And in general the experience came across as an afterthought, not a special experience. My friends who have been to other local teas said they'd go back to the Proper in the future instead.
In comparison to other tea experiences, this was of low value. Service was good, and the food was good, but the experience did not have the ambience or value expected for the price.
The Hidden Flask is an experience! From checking to leaving. The hotel itself is decorated to perfection for the holidays and the themed decor at The Hidden Flask is outstanding! The service, lite bites, DJ, atmosphere, cocktails. It's was great!
Enjoyed the atmosphere that Four Seasons is known to provide but the service for the hidden flask was a miss. It took almost 20 minutes after ordering to receive a glass of wine from the bar and then we received the wrong check from the bartender several times even after telling them everything we had. This also resulted in several charges on our card for those incorrect checks. This was a disappointing experience considering the price point and our expectations of Four Seasons and the service they are known for.
One of the worst buffets I have ever had and not remotely traditional for Christmas. Four Seasons used to be a place you knew you would get quality - not anymore. We were sat in a drab massive corporate conference room with barely any decorations and the buffet was so very very disappointing, it was quite sad and pathetic. I assume it was all Cisco food. Almost $500 for two people, you would think would be impressive.
Go ahead and make your reservation for Christmas brunch 2026...or any brunch for that matter. Crab Claws! Endless crab claws and shrimp. Divine salads with delicious dressings. Sushi! Did I mention crab claws? Carving stations! Miles of chicken, tofu, salmon on one side of the buffet and miles of French Toast, pancakes and other sweet breakfast goodies on the other side. The desserts were fantastic-chocolate tiramisu, parfaits, matcha, too many to list. Delicious.
Cocktail menu was lackluster and not well balanced. Bartenders weren't prepared to make basic classic cocktails. Servers were not knowledgeable or able to offer suggestions based on guest preferences. Decent pop up bar. Bad speakeasy
I thoroughly enjoyed the speakeasy experience. The atmosphere was lively, and the drinks and service were exceptional.
Limited drink menu Minimal seasonal decorations Neat themed event and nice welcome drink but the feel wasn't quite there. Sat outside on the balcony and all the seating around fireplace was taken.

It was nice, just ok. Difficult to call from the desk area. No one answered. Had to have the desk answer. 3 drinks $80? No value. No one dressed for a speak easy experience. Typical Austin crowd. Not worth it wont return
The tea was not out of this world. Regular tea. The food was average. Some of it my friends and I didn't eat it bc they were too bland. In overall the experience was ok. I've been to better tea experiences and cheaper. The seated us in the lobby of the hotel which bc they said they didn't have tables on the back for 5 people, which I found silly bc it's easy to put 2 tables together. Anyway, if you can go in the evening bc the lights in the outdoor is the only thing worth the hassle of going downtown. It's not spectacular, but it gives the holidays vibes.
Intimate and comfortable outdoor space that creates an upscale laid-back vibe. The great food and beverage offerings match that feel.
The service and our waiter were wonderful. The tea pots were beautiful but for the price of the tea there was so little food! You get to choose one tea cocktail one tea and food. I would rather them out the money from the cocktail Into the food. And pay extra for booze. It was just in the lobby of the hotel so nothing fancy I won't be coming back but I do appreciate our server for being so kind
Everything was lovely! The service was excellent. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought us a little treat for the birthday girl. I would certainly recommend.
