Restaurant was essentially empty when we arrived, yet our entrees all came out at different times. Mine came at least 20-30 minutes after the rest. The consensus of the party was that most if not all of the dishes were bland, tasteless, and not cooked well. Service started off well but we couldn't get a refill of water despite no one else being waited on aside from us. They tried to make up for the poor food/service with dessert but the damage was done. A very unfortunate experience as I had family in town and we chose to spend a dinner here, only to leave extremely disappointed.
Food arrived very cold. When kindly alerted the staff and the manager gave us a look like we were crazy and did not make any attempt to remedy or apologize or even just be kind. Waiter was nice but the experience was not good.
I booked a post-wedding ceremony dinner with L'Oca d'Oro for a party of 12 and had to do that remotely from Oregon via email mostly. They came up with a lovely option for the party and made it an incredible experience. They handled every question and request with pleasantness / professionalism and came up with suggestions of their own that made things even nicer.
We could not have had a better evening. The bride and groom had an amazing time. The staff was exceptionally attentive and we enjoyed seeing them watching as everyone ate... oooo'ing and ahhhh'ing over the flavors. We were able to have appetizers / drinks at the bar and then dinner in a more private room in back. They made cannoli tours for the 'wedding cake' that were _so_ fresh, delicious and beautiful.
The restaurant and staff have our gratitude forever.

The food was awesome. The only complaint was when we were trying to leave and trying to get attention of the bartender. It is a very minor complaint as I was waving a few times and felt ignored. All that being said, the food was great. It is a great place for a fresh meal. Well worth it for a date night.
Terrible service. The waiter would disappear thirty minutes at a time. Managed to get the bill after asking for it twice and sitting there for twenty minutes. A hidden ~3% credit card fee that they don’t tell you until after and 20% gratuity is included. No wonder service is so bad! The food on the other hand was fine. The bread is tasty!

Lovely food for celebratory experience. Great svce & food. Tad too loud for our conversation, but It was a Friday night after all.
The food is always amazing, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is perfect. We love this place and found ourselves able to do an impromptu date night at the bar during restaurant week. It was perfect
So cute! Such a great find. The food is immaculate, the servers are so kind, and it’s a fun excuse to dress up and sit down and eat dinner with the people you love.

The rigatoni arrabiata was perfectly cooked, but not very spicy. The sauce tasted fresh and the wine was great. The ambiance feels more like a bright cafe than a standard romantic Italian restaurant. Service was nice and friendly but the pricing seemed a bit high ($26) for a smaller bowl of pasta.

Delightful experience. We shared several dishes. They were all delicious. Polpette (meatballs) frito misto, pasta, tiramisu and peach cobbler. All were wonderful. The music playlist had us tapping our toes. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We had a reservation so I don't know how long the wait would be but at 7:30 on Saturday, it was busy.

The amount of time and consideration each ingredient gets as by far some of the most impressive I've seen in Austin. Everything from a simple vinegar, syrup, pasta; everything's made fresh. Do yourself a favor if you don't wanna trust me, go to the reverse happy hour.

I wish there were more selection and that the happy hour menu was a separate menu. I only knew the Spritz was on happy hour because of Instagram.
Came here for Austin Restaurant Week since part of it goes to the food bank, which I thought was cool. The $50 set menu sounded like a decent deal, but honestly the portions were pretty small and the food just didn’t deliver. FYI: the photos I posted are zoomed in—so the portions may look bigger than they actually were.
Starter: I got the Mozzarella, Peach & Pickled Melon Panzanella. There were barely any peaches in there—just tiny little cubes you could hardly see. Everywhere else I’ve had this dish, the peach is sliced and you can actually taste it.
Pasta: The Rigatoni Arrabbiata was the real letdown. No spice at all, just this weird sourness that tasted more like lemon juice than tomato. Pretty unpleasant, and I couldn’t even finish it. I hate wasting food, but I just couldn’t.
Dessert: The melon sorbet was fine, but nothing special. Totally average.
I’m a big Italian food fan (I even go to Italy in the summers for the food), so I came in excited. But this was just disappointing. And honestly, if the food had been good, I wouldn’t mind the automatic 20% tip, but with tonight’s experience it felt ridiculous. Then on top of that, they tack on a credit card fee? Pretty speechless, lol.

They have a delicious monthly pasta club! Pick up the meal before 6 pm; it comes with easy to follow meal prep directions. Feeds 2 people, appetizer, 2 pasta dishes, dessert, and optional wine paring addition! The meal was easy to prepare and delicious!
