My friend was a returning customer today and had a nice chat with Ricky, who took our order. Ricky is a gem. He brings incredible energy to the restaurant, creating a true sense of community in the city by making customers feel valued and welcome.

Overpriced and mediocre food plus rude wait staff. Skip it. Lots of other great spots nearby.

It is definitely pricey, but the portions more than make up for it.
If I could change the price setting on the review to be more like $20 per person I would but Google isn't giving me that option.
I had the most interesting and delicious posole. I've never had a pozole with pumpkin seeds and an egg on top but I don't think I can have it any other way from now on.

Love the atmosphere of this place! Everything I’ve tried here has been amazing! You definitely have to try the truffled egg salad sandwich!

Some Johny Dep pretending sassy kid at the register made me feel so rushed on a Saturday when there was no one behind me at the line. At one point I even looked back and said, is there anybody behind me?! Obviously he didn’t give 2¢!
We got the avocado toast and po’ boy. Both were very salty for my taste. On positive, the drinks are good and you can do some small modifications. I wouldn’t be coming back since there are lots of options available in the area.

While downtown, I was starving and looking for something quick, but not fast food, when I laid my eye on local foods at the corner of 2nd/San Antonio. They were packed for lunch which to me was a good indicator that they must have good food. Initially, I thought it was just a vegan establishment until I spied fish/meat options. I decided on the salmon poke bowl and a vegan chocolate chip cookie and the best word to describe both is WOW! For lunch, this place is not cheap, but I promise you that the salmon poke was worth every penny. It was a lot of food and I could not finish it in one day, so I thought I would save it for the next day; I wouldn’t recommend doing that as the broccoli lost its crunch and overall, it just wasn’t the same. For a vegan cookie, I was wholly impressed! The service was friendly and great. I will definitely be going back.

Great spot for real, locally sourced, intentionally prepared food. It’ll be your lucky day if you get Ricky at the counter - he’s super knowledgeable about the dishes and their sourcing and has great recommendations too.
