Local Foods is forever one of my favorite restaurants and this location did not disappoint. The location was clean and staff was kind. The crunchy chicken sandwich as always was excellent along with the chips and potato salad. Local foods continues to be top tier in fast casual.

Prior to an event at the Long Center, we roamed across the river to the 2nd St District in sunny Austin for a bite. My dinner choice of Gummie Bears at the Candy store was overruled...so we hit up Local Foods! The vibe here is great with 2 levels of seating as well as outdoor and to go options.

Wasn't sure it was worth the money until I saw the portions and the attention to detail. The candied pepitas, marinated jicima, and onions and peppers were superb. The greens were fresh and the vegan taco salad muy sabrosa and filling. Even the music was good.
