The menu does not clearly explain prices, just a plate of chilaquiles, that includes beans, chips, chees, cream, and not so good sauce is just under 15 dollars. Each protein portion is 6 dollars and up and small portion. I order chicarron that was mostly fat burn chunks. I order the 5 star hot sauce, that was not spicy at all. Also if you pay with debit or credit card an additional $3.11 charge is added to your bill. This is not listed anywhere or notify to customers.
Chef tried to convince us that all restaurants do this sneaky charge $3.11 , not true at all.
First time and last time I come to this place. I'm from Mexico city and the chilaqiles were a big disappointment and expensive version of tex-mex food.
My bill was over 25 dollars for eggs, chicharron, beans, chess, mild sauce, and small bread. With a cup of water.
I can cook the same plate under 10 dollars at home.

It’s truly a must visit spot in Austin, TX!!
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant full of history. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the Longhorn Chilakillers Level 2 were outstanding. For the quality you get, the prices are very affordable plates could be enough for two people. Every bite reminded me of breakfast at a mercado in Mexico, authentic, comforting, and full of flavor.
I’ll definitely be coming back, and recommend as a can’t miss when visiting Austin, TX
