We have been coming here for quite a few years and it is a go-to weekend breakfast spot. Love the potato and egg plate and the classic drip coffee always hits just right. The food comes out fast and everyone working here is always so friendly. On the weekends, you'll often find musicians playing for tips - it's so lovely.

Pretty good. i partook in the Fajita mix plate or plato, admittedly not the most favoriting of mixing, liking to keep my food separate. However the two delectable varieties of protein that rested on this plate went particularly well with each other. The fatty steak paired together with the lean chicken, left an explosion of flavor in my mouth. The beans, while a little runny, coincided with a very starchy textured mexican rice that complimented each other well. Lastly the two salsas, ahaha, were delightful. Typically the green sauce or salsa verde, would be too spicy for a silly gringo such as I, however it blended so well in the symphony of flavors the plate was composed of that I hardly noticed the spice, just a lovely hint of spice and serrano on my palette. Overall, a very delightful experience and I am sure to come again at a future date.

I ordered something very simple a bean and cheese taco and a carne guisada but the quality of the food was poor. When I brought up the issue with the bean and cheese taco, the waiter gave me attitude instead of addressing the concern professionally. While they did end up not charging me for it, the overall experience left a bad impression. I expected better service and food, especially for such basic items.

This is my favorite place to eat breakfast in all of austin. The service is wonderful. They have live music every weekend.

Solid food and fun building, het the slot perfectly
Good Mexican restaurant. Folks speak Mexican and not so much in English but we managed. They have in-house drinks which most of the Spanish speaking folks were ordering. Friendly staff and clean interiors.

My new favorite local Mexican restaurant. Their chips and salsa are homemade and you can tell just by looking at it. I love their creamy salsa verde! I’ve only eaten here a few times but every single time it just hits. I rarely crave mexican food honestly but ever since being introduced to this place… mmmhmmm? (Words cannot describe). The pics i’m attaching with this review was their burrito, which i know doesn’t really scream AUTHENTIC MEXICAN but it still slapped. The variety of hot sauce accessible on the table is great as well since i didn’t have to call them over. Although servers didn’t speak much English I had no problem understanding them or them understanding me plus the fact that they always are smiling was just contagious. I also got their horchata which was huge to say the least. Also if the picture doesn’t show it their portions are giants and honestly prices are very affordable. Whoever leaves comments like their prices were cheaper when they checked online must have viewed photos of their menu from prior years (Hello, there is such a thing called inflation!) Now i did ended up paying $25 for my meal but honestly which how big it was… i count it as a two meals (even the drink) I cannot recommend enough!
