I was next door today getting my bike fixed at Trek Bikes and it doesn't look like this place is open. The chairs were stacked and the lights were off, and this was Saturday at 3pm, when their hours say they should be open. It was going down hill so I guess this was to be expected.

Being from New Orleans and raised on the best seasoned seafood, this place is just as awesome...I had the King Crab legs with the jumbo shrimp and the Soft Shell Crab basket and it was soooo delicious. My only regret was that I was not able to go back while visiting Austin. But on my next trip, I will definitely return....

I've decided to share my experience because after paying $45.00 I expected at least a decent meal. Well I didn't get a meal at all. To be clear, we placed an order to go at the counter, in person, on Saturday night. It was not busy. There were at least three employees working the small uninviting restaurant. They totally messed up our order the first time. We had paid for two shrimp dinners and a salad, nothing crazy. Instead, we got one shrimp dinner and no salad and to top it off, the second attempt they sent us home with two salads and one shrimp dinner- I was stupid not to check inside the boxes because the service, was completely incompetent. It felt like the service was only half in the game and that's exactly what we got, half of our order. Their BASIC salad is not a meal- iceberg with cheese and croutons with no dressing whatsoever, I was never offered any dressing. So hungry and pissed.

take the name louisiana off this trash food. not even fried in fish fry batter looks like flower batter on shrimp and fish. fish not fully cooked, shrimp aren't butterfly and this batter whatever it is, it's horrible. you would never find horrible fried seafood like this in louisiana, ever. This is horrible for 28 dollars, called this Austin seafood, please don't be fooled by the name, this is horrible.

This was my first time hear and i was excited because i heard great things. But i was quickly disappointed. The glass i was given was dirty, my appetizer didn't come out until my food came out. When i poured ketchup onto my plate, there were small bugs on the top of the lid. I gave the bottle to our server and he took it to the manager who was sitting at the bar. 5 minutes go by and I'm having to ask for boxes because no one has come back to say anything. The manager didn't apologize or do anything to help the situation. I had to call the manager over to let her know what the situation was and she says that they've had bugs at this table recently. I don't know why you would sit a table that had bug problems. And you then wouldn't come to the table to say anything until i called you over. Poor management/ staff and poor cleanliness.

The portion size is small for the price. I got the oyster basket for $18 through Uber Eats. It had 3 oysters, 1 random shrimp and a ton of unseasoned fries.

I got a chicken quesadilla for takeaway - it took them a long time to prepare and seemed pricey at first, but the serving size was big enough to justify the price. It tasted good too!

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! This was my birthday treat from my Sis and I was knocked off my feet! It was my first time visiting as well. Great flavor and value! EDUARDO gave the BEST customer service! We went to the Guadalupe location. We are going back BUT will be calling to make sure EDUARDO will be there to take care of us again!
The staff was nice but the food was just alright. Gumbo tasted like overly salted cafeteria soup, crawfish tasted like they just boiled it on plain water and seasoned it after, french fries were mushy, but the po boy was decent.

We had an awesome experience here at the Louisiana crab shack!! Eli & Chris was attentive and He made our experience wonderful Most likely we will be coming back once we come to visit Austin again!! Good job guys!!

First time eating here. This place wasn't exactly the model of cleanliness but the staff did wear masks and they are limiting the number of inside guest to 10. The food was fire. The seasoning was delicious, the seafood was cooked perfectly and the sauce was phenomenal. Some of the best I've had in awhile. I don't know if we'd eat dine in again, but we'll definitely be getting more of this to go no doubt.
