Lubys is always good if you were in a rush and you want a quick lunch but they do make the best iced tea.

I love getting the cheese steak here. It's what I used to get when I was little and it's still just as delicious.

We went with a group on Easter Sunday of all days! I must say, everyone at this establishment was genuinely the sweetest and most welcoming. Went out of their way for our elders in our family. Special thanks to bunny Yolanda, and John. Happy holidays and your hard work does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

Affordable lunch lots of variety and the only place that I know of that serves liver. The building is older but it's kept pretty clean. The wait staff are attentive and tipping is acceptable. If you don't have cash on hand for a tip at the table, you can get cash while paying for your food.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu

If you have 5 greenbacks and change you can get a dessert. But for only $4 more, you can get an entrée, not 1, but 2 sides and a serving of bread. It's like triple the amount of food for less than double the price of the 1 dessert. They do pricing, math and business differently here. They charge 5% for food to go packaging. The cost for packaging ought be included in the price of the food and drink. What's next? Charging us for the lights and air in the building? A receipt charge? Parking? This review? On the bottom of the receipt they disclose, in large, bold font: "* Indicates tax free item(s)," which begs the question, what's there tax free? I'll tell you what's not, their surcharge tax on to go packaging. 8.25% on 5% of subtotal plus subtotal.Taxed by taxers also being taxed. This taxed here noticed the overtaxing by a hundredth. 8.26 versus the statutory 8.25. Does this surplus go to the fed or is this secret overcharge go to business for more %&#*×*#\ $?I suppose it doesn't matter since it's negligible. It's hardly illegal or an instance of deceptive trade practice....barely malfeasance. Just like the incorrect totaling of subtotal and excess charge(s), taxes. The penny short is only a penny. But if it's a penny every order and this is order 79528770017, that's $795 million. Business, math...done differently.Food wise, everything was fat; extra buttery, greasy and oily; except the bread. The cornbread was dry, with too much baking powder.Thank you, Luby's Austin #3<3

We were getting in line to get our treys and there was a VERY big cockroach and almost climbed up my daughters Arm. We have been coming to Luby’s for a long time now with my family and this has happened at least twice. There restaurant was disgusting and tables we’re almost all the time dirty. Not

Always a very anticipated meal when I'm working in that area every 3 months. No one on the planet can cook liver and onions like Luby's can.I always get the same thing which is cabbage cornbread and large order of liver and onions.Never had a bad peace or a bad experience at this location.Wish I had this restaurant in my area.Easy to get to, good parking and not far from my hotel.

I have not gone to Lubys in years.I was so excited to get my favorite veggies and fish but I was not happy with the lack of freshness and my food being hot.It was not a good visit.

Lubys IS a great place to eat. It’s a long cafeteria buffet of dozens of fresh Lubys classics, from salads to entrées to LOTS of hot vegetables to breads and desserts. As my mom and I have become older, I greatly appreciate the Helpful Staff who materialize to carry heavy trays to a table, and keep checking in with us. (Tips are welcome, but not required.)We usually have fish and vegetables. But I love Lubys because if my mood is different they have so many yummy choices! Including: meatloaf, 2" pork chops, turkey & dressing w cranberries!Parking: Big free private parking lotKid-friendliness: So easy! Lots of good choices!Love lifting child and letting them choose exactly what they want today. And even if it's only fruit jello and peas, the occasional silly feast is okay!Wheelchair accessibility: A dozen roomy ♿ parking spots. But a hilly property and only MANUAL DOORS are less than ideal.Fyi: THIS location has a Drive-Thru!⚠️ Caution: The D-T EXIT is a sharp narrow turn! 30 years on and I will still bump a tire sometimes. ?
