I haven't been to a Luby's in about 20 years. This Luby's was exceptional and the food and the choices were above and beyond and the price was fair. Will be going again soon.

I really like my fish and I was lucky that they put a fresh batch out when I got it so it was hot.But my veggies were not hot enough for me. It was cold and I don't like cold food.

Although the food looked good as we went through the line. The story changed when we sat down to eat it. The food was salty as the red sea and as cold as the north pole. I spent $35.44 and it was truly money waisted. I would not recommend this Luby's. The location on 183 is much better and the food is not over seasoned and is piping hot as well. The manager and cooks at slaughter location could learn from the team at 183. Now I would appreciate it if Luby's would reimburse me for the money I spent.
Luby’s is a great spot for comfort food, with a wide variety of choices that also includes some healthier options. It has a warm, family friendly atmosphere and often accommodates large groups. Considering the generous portions and the quality of the food, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are welcoming and friendly.

SKIP THIS Lubys!! This has to be the worst Luby's I've ever encountered. The Building and Dining area is nice. The food is lacking: Fish, the chicken was all cold. Asked to have it warmed. Waitress and cashier very professional, other that a picture ain't worth a 1000 words. (The pretty Building)
We were there for Thanksgiving again this year. Great as always.

Keeps getting better n better!! Special today was the chicken fried steak, fried potato and onions PLUS 2 sides !! For $14. Great big portions seasoned great and flavor great! I couldn't finish my meal, so much food and steak was huge. Lubys has been a family trading all my life. Lots of love for this restaurant!

I went with my family to Thanksgiving dinner, and there was a cockroach eating the pumpkin and pecan pies. I told the lady, and she just laughed. We sat down to eat, and the food was awful. I don't know if it was because of the sensation and the disgust from the cockroach, but it was horrible The health department should shut that place down.

Don't come to this location. The food is always cold!! I always have to ask them to warm my food up. 😩 We pay way too much as a family to get cold food! The guy serving the food today was also very rude.
