ordered wings from lucy’s off of favor app and they were so soggy that they were literally inedible and nasty. please package your to go food with more care and effort because it was really gross and tragic. the type of containers used keep all the steam in and there’s no way they don’t know this is a problem by now, that’s how disgusting it was. they were also swimming in a soup of sauce??? like wtf?

The staff was very friendly, but I was expecting more from the food. The chicken was a little dry, needed salt, and didn’t have flavor. The Mac and cheese was a little funky, and the gravy wasn’t gravy, it was some weird mayo sauce.

I live down the street from this place and I had been there a couple times years ago and stopped going because it wasn’t great. Didn’t think much of it, just decided I wouldn’t go back. Today, my girlfriend picked up from here and I can honestly say, without a doubt, this is the worst fried chicken I have ever had. It is incredibly dry, which makes it chewy, on top of that the flavor is practically non existent. Imagine covering an unseasoned piece of chicken in flour, then frying the absolute hell out of it. That’s Lucy’s. They either have someone in the kitchen that has no clue how to fry chicken or just don’t care at all what they are serving people. I believe it is both of the above. I will never again eat at this place and I truly hope this review prevents anyone else from having to eat whatever this is that they are serving.

We absolutely loved the vibe of the restaurant! We had a great time chatting with the staff, who were incredibly friendly. We were quite happy with our experience. The fried chicken was okay, a bit dry, but the oysters were really fresh. We would definitely love to visit again!

OMG I'm so glad I found this place and it's only 7 minutes from my school so I'll definitely be a repeat customer. This is the best chicken in Austin in my opinion in fact I haven't had fried chicken except mine in many years because I moved and wasn't ever in the area with Lucy's. I really don't like eating out too much because the food is horrible & I'm not sure it's even real food honestly. But Lucy's never disappoints man I'm really just tickled pink that I checked today ???

I don't get to eat at Lucy's as often as I would like, but every time I go, it feels like it's even better than I remember. I will definitely continue returning, and you should also go there a lot! The slaw is a standout, and the chicken and waffles are THE best (get a side of wing sauce to drizzle with the syrup!).
