Pretty good burger, solid. Classic and delicious. Maybe hoping for more pizzazz given the things I've seen about this place.

First time at Luke's since it changed management/cooks/branding. It's now called "CHOPATX." They have a very familiar menu of sandwiches and fries. I'm sure many won't even realize the difference (unless you're like me and have go-to favorites you always get when going to Gibson bar.) I tried their "Italian" sandwich and unfortunately, it was awful. Extremely soggy. Bland, grey meat. Slimy vegetables. I'm likely to go one more time and try a different sandwich in hopes I just had a bad one-time experience.

Delicious burger, delicious fries. Foot took a while to come out, maybe 12 minutes, even with no one in line, but it was worth the wait. Best burger I've had, perfectly crispy fries. Staff was curtious. Please come support this business, it is delicious!

Bread was way too chewy and too much. I got their Ruben special, and the meat was way over cooked. The fries also tasted like frozen fries. Probably would not go again unless I was blacked out from Gibson Street Bar.

Maybe it was the high bar set based on reviews, but I was left wanting more. The sandwich and burger we ordered we both bland and a bit dry. And the wait was lengthy considering there was just one guy manning the grill and register.

I grabbed a special. Roast tenderloin it said. Headed into Gibson's and got a beer. What showed up was just jaw dropping. Delicate slices of tender rare beef, covered in some kind of smoky barbecued tomato sauce? Excellent roast potatoes. A half head of garlic roasted whole so you could scoop out the cloves. And this place is a food truck parked next to a bar!? If they can keep that kind of quality consistently they'd be the top restaurant in a lot of towns I've been to. Absolutely phenomenal food.

Nice little trailer with very nice employees! Sandwich was great and we upgraded to fries for an extra $2 instead of chips. They didn't sell drinks, which was kind of a bummer since I didn't wanna go into a bar to order a soda. Came out around $15 which is pretty damn pricey for a sandwich and fries but it was good. Some of the fries were slightly undercooked but overall super good. Brisket on the sandwich was very good and there was a lot of it. If you're not that hungry you can definitely share this meal with a friend.
disappointed and disgusted…ordered the pig and as i was eating it i noticed a toenail clipping? there was a hangnail just sitting in my sandwich!?? very apalling i had to throw the sandwich away and when i asked for a new one i also realized the kids inside werent wearing gloves or even masks…disgusting !! would not come here ever

Super wow on point. The seasonings are PERFECT, in a way i havent had from a public place in a long time. I got the burger w salad and the pork w love slaw and chips. The salad dressing was eye opening in the best way. It was one of the nicer salads i've been served w apple slices that taste organic. The greasiness on the burger hit the spot for satiation and mouth nom. And the spinach instead of lettuce just makes sense. I cant wait to have more room available to munch out in the pulled pork. My ppl are from the Memphis region, and this sandwich would make them proud.

Oh my GAWD. BEST BURGER IN AUSTIN. Man this was amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection and the burger melted in my mouth. I'd eat this everyday. Ugh everything was amazing.
