You absolutely cannot sleep on this bakery. If you are a morning muffin and coffee person, please do yourself a kindness and buy a sweet treat from Maaribu. It's evident the patisserie chef knows her business, and loves it.
Gorgeous outdoor seating area, a wonderful selection of gifts and collectibles. Really an ATX gem.
I love this place! The drinks and gluten-free offerings are some of the best in Austin. Baristas, Oliver and Sadie, are so friendly, and make a bad ass cortado. The ambience of Maaribu is refreshing, inspirational, and all around yummy! And if I understand correctly, locally and women owned. So excited, they’re open seven days a week now!
I went to Maaribu this morning after hearing it’s a great bakery shop for gluten free dairy free people. It is a cute store with nice home gifts. The bakery had a single dairy free item, a peanut butter cookie. The barista was unhelpful and unpleasant, though the man working the floor welcomed me and said hi. Still, I will not be going back.
One of our very favorite places. Their backyard is a great place to sit and peacefully enjoy your coffee.
Just FYI, There’s no public WiFi. I now have a beverage but no where to work. :/
Also my matcha tastes like Dust Bros.
I traveled from Utah and had sought out gf places in advance. When I got her there were zero gf items in the case. I had the coffee and it was OK but I had really looked forward to the whole experience. Had I tried any gf items maybe it'd be a 5-star but without that, it really wasn't an experience worth the hassle of parking.
Amazing atmosphere, good coffee and mostly good gluten-free pastries. The scones were super dry. The oatmeal cookie was amazing. A few other items were pretty good.
Coffee was mid. One of the baristas was mean. The energy at this place is off.
The girl at the front (by the gift shop section) was very nice though!
Came in for the first time this past Sunday and had a lovely experience at the cafe. My strawberry-matcha was delicious and Andrea was very knowledgeable about the menu. Got the blue majik oatchata for my son, he absolutely loved it! Coming back ASAP!
DELICIOUS gluten free baked goods and coffee. The shop is adorable and great for gifts. Parking and outdoor space 👍🏼

Very cute coffee shop, love the gift shop area. Staff was super friendly one of the only decent coffee shops in town. 10/10
Used to be great now all of a sudden true colors shine bright ....
Nice shop with delicious coffee.
Great coffee and nice selection of gifts
We had great coffees and got cute gifts for our family back home. Friends that live in Austin recommended Maaribu and we are glad we stopped by the store.
