I was in Austin for the first time celebrating my birthday. I was approached on the street for free drinks for me and my friends. We went in and we were not served at all. The bartender asked me what I wanted and gave me her Venmo to tip as I was getting ready to scan the Venmo, she snatched the QR code back, and I tipped with cash after asking what I wanted to drink she walked away and never walked back. Also, another group of girls gave us their free drink tickets as well on their way out and said that the bartender did not pay them any attention what so ever.

We celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday at Maggie Mae’s & were treated like family! The Manager was so accommodating & we had THE FINEST Bartender EVER❣️What a blessing to have selected Maggie Mae’s for a wonderful evening❣️

Do NOT GO HERE. Ladies bathroom disgusting. No toilet paper, wet pissy floors, Door are full of gunk. Paid $42 for 3 drinks to be nothing but soda.. Told the bartender he said"ok".. lol never again.

Loser DJ. The DJ left his booth: left a the music on autopilot. Like the 1& year old child he is. . Who does not know how to read the crowd. This uncle wnd dad seem to be running the front door. If you want an 18 year old privilege ride white child; stop by. If you want to explore Austin- keep walking.
Maggie Mae’s has a great rooftop patio. The service was great and they had live music playing on the ground floor. It was a lot of fun!

Stopped by because I saw a sign that said cheapest drinks on 6th street. They weren’t lying at all. Went from paying $9 for a well drink to $2 on a Tuesday. Also saw some good live music from James Hearne. The bartender Michael was very nice and knowledgeable. Kept me entertained throughout the night.
