I eat a lot of chicken and rice, and this by far the most tender chicken I've had over rice in Austin. Perfectly poached and a generous portion size, this surely has other Thai places beat.
Let's just say that this place became a weekly tradition right after our first visit. From the friendliest staff to the tastiest Viet/Thai inspired dishes, Mam Mam is a must try whenever you're in the Austin area. Our go to items are the chicken & rice, fish sauce caramel wings, along with whatever the special is that week if there is one. The portions are perfect to share but trust me, you're gunna want your own!

Wanted to try the curry since it had thai and Malaysian influences. I told the cashier I missed malay food a lott (having grown up in nyc with malaysian parents) and I'm trying to find some good ones in austin ðŸ˜
The chef also threw in some fish sauce wings on the house which was so sweet! 🥹 friendly service & everything was so yummy~ the roti reminded me of home...
