I wish I lived closer. Love it! This is a good place for some well-prepared, uncomplicated TexMex. The food is not particularly spicy, but no no means bland. HOWEVER, plenty items on the menu have more kick, just like the awesome salsa I recognized from years before. Service was SLIGHTLY slow, but solid and attentive, especially with minimal staff at the time. I'll definitely be back!

Not sure about the other reviews on the taste side but ordered through DoorDash the other day. Everything was pretty bland honestly (Ordered Fajita Tacos and a Fajita Quesadilla) and the chips tasted like they were made in old or stale oil, or maybe cooked too long. The Sopapilla's were also burnt and looked nothing like what was pictured. Not the best experience at all.

Had the verdes enchilada platter dish here and it was pretty delicious. Only 8 dollars too for the amount you spend on the food here you get quite a bit plus the chips here with the salsa was very good you get free refills on chips. I loved their green jalapeí±o salsa they give you here. Extremely spicy, just the way I like it. Restaurant is very tiny can only hold a few people for dine in. But yea this is a pretty convenient run of the mill Tex mex restaurant I recommend it. Not pricy at all.

Great place. It's my favorite hole in the wall Mexican place. Great food, good lunch specials, fair prices.

Small place, but good food at good prices! First visit, but I will be back!

Food is horribly bland and flavorless. It was not hot but that could be because the doordash idiot just left it in the porch. Claimed he knocked for 5 minutes... BS. This restaurant needs to have someone review their website, according to it they were not open when we ordered. Several days say they are open from 7 am to 9 am. That might explain the quality, probably left overs.... For my money I will drive to Ramos #3 in the future for good mexican food or even taco cabana, it has flavor....

Wow . . pretty bad . . .had taco plate, beans, rice, chile con queso . .. Taco meat unseasoned, bland . . . . rice, a little overcooked, bland . . .beans, had the exact same flavor as any frozen mexican dinner with refried beans at the grocery store . . . Chile con queso - where's the "chile" part?? No peppers, onions, with the queso . . .the queso itself is like a bland thick wet cement . .. . no seasoning whatsoever . . I understand if one item isn't up to par for your meal . .restaurants aren't perfect . . .But, 4 items and 4 complete failures . . ..not one aspect of the meal was good . ..

Definitely have had better Carne Guisada than here at Marias. The gravy almost taste as if it is boxed. So it lacked a lot of flavor I was looking for. The flour tortillas are really soft and tasty. Prices aren't too bad at all. They also have daily specials. Service was nice. Food just wasn't amazing.

The food was good and edible but most of it lacked flavored. I had the vegetable fajitas. Only thing that seemed to have real great flavor to it was the beans. Not big fan of refried Beans though. So I will be giving this place another try possibly for chorizo.

So, I paid 11 dollars for 8 shrimps with like maybe a quarter of a bell peppers and an 8th of an onion. Food was just ok. And the shrimp had tails left on them so I had to cut them off myself so my fingers didn't get disgusting. Who eats shrimp tails? Is there a crowd I am missing?
