These seafood changed my life. Over the years I was always looking for an authentic seafood place here in Austin and I really couldn't find it, until I found Mariscos la carreta. Some delicious Nayarit style seafood, 100% recommended to everyone
Best mariscos in Austin hands down. Not only is the seating area a vibe, the food is amazing, and the owner is the nicest person. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for good seafood, nice outdoor seating, and outstanding service.
Googled "best aguachile in austin" and looked through them all. chose this one bc it looked the most like what i was looking for (authentic). i got the mar negro, asked for it spicy. So so so fresh n so so so good!!!! service was really personable, not just someone pushing orders out of a truck. guy was coming out to check on everybody, seeing if anyone needed anything. cant wait to go back n try everything else !!
