Recently dined at this establishment, enticed by its stellar 4.7-star rating on Google Maps, and expected a dining experience that matched. Unfortunately, the reality fell short, particularly where it mattered most: the food. While service was competent and staff were courteous, the dishes themselves were a letdown. The pizza, which should be the highlight, was lackluster in flavor, with a dough that seemed undercooked and toppings that lacked freshness. The ingredients, which one would expect to sing in harmony in a well-rated pizzeria, were discordant. Even the ambiance, which was pleasant enough, couldn't compensate for the culinary missteps. This was not just a minor hiccup but a glaring discrepancy between expectation and reality, especially given the high rating. It's disheartening when a place with such potential fails to deliver on the most crucial aspect of dining: the quality of its food.

Can’t comment on the atmosphere since we ordered for pick up but they brought the pizza right out to us and were super friendly. I ordered for the office and they were able to accommodate the order same day. Will definitely need to come back here, we got cheese, pepperoni, street corn, supreme, and buffalo chicken pizzas and it was gone real quickly. Everyone enjoyed them!

Pizza was burnt. Very bad quality and Mr. Dave who said he was the owner, refused a refund and made excuses as to why. This was a very bad experience with bad customer service. He offered to replace only but mentioned, it must be within the same week. If I did not order this week,(2/21/2024) he would not honor it. He had a very bad attitude and said he had to work 7 days out of the week, so he was not giving a refund. You just don't treat customers that way. Beware! The pictures speak for themselves. I ordered online on your website. I did not order through Door dash, that is your 3rd party that picks the order up. You told me that I had to get the pizza this week nothing about 2 weeks, that is a lie. The bottom line, you do not treat customers the way you did today. Truthfully this is the first issue I've had with Market Street Pizza. I have always enjoyed it. Today the quality was not good. I simply called to let you know that to be greeted with bad customer service. You definitely handled this call the wrong way! Please treat the next customer better when they have an issue. That is burnt pizza below.

Update: I spoke to Dave (The owner) and talked through the situation with him. He was very understanding and resolved my issue. He really cares about his customers and strives to put his whole team's best foot forward. 10/10 service and I am more than happy to frequent this location!My favorite pizza place ?

I was looking for a good pizza place in Austin and I have found an amazing one! Market street pizza should be a staple for every pizza lover in Austin. It has become my weekly pizza place. Love the quality and the service. Highly recommended!
Pizza in my opinion wasn’t cooked evenly as far as the meats since it was a meat lover pizza.. felt the canandian bacon was too big in slices and the Italian sausage was overbearing with spice. The pizza toppings and cheese slid off as soon as I grabbed a slice. Maybe I should’ve gotten something else.

The 1 topping XL pizza deal is excellent and stands out among pizza places in the Austin area, IMO. With food being ridiculously expensive in this area, a place like this that is willing to offer such high quality food at a reasonable price is really appreciated. It's so easy to sell out these days, I'm thankful to have found this place. Keep it up.

I ordered a pie for pickup based on favorable reviews. Upon arriving, I didn’t realize they don’t support pick up in store, you call and wait for them to bring it. there was an employee going in and out of the store that was rude, and unhelpful. I got a bad vibe, and decided I didn’t trust him… I left without my pie, that I had paid for, I just got a bad feeling and decided it wasn’t worth it.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I literally hyped it up to all of my friends and loved ones cause’ who wouldn’t want the BEST for their peers? The customer service is always always so great! the food?? my most favorite pizza spot since moving to Austin . Thank you Market Street Pizza for giving me a no brainer option when I’m in need of some yummy pasta,wings, bread sticks and pizza!! ❤️?
