Overpriced liquor like most places. Crazy people still buy sugary watered down alcoholic drinks in 2025.

They advertise food but I dont see any food on their online menu.

We stopped into Marlow on a whim while we were waiting on an event to start. Our bartender was friendly and let us know they have 1/2 off wine bottle Tues-Thurs. and was speedy with our drinks. The space is nice and the AC was cranked up! Thank you! Waller creek is such a cool feature DT and their patio overlooks the elephant ears and River Walk-esque views. I'd like to go back here intentionally and spend some more time during their happy hour!

For a place that is supposed to be high class, it's too loud

They're dog friendly, inside and outside! Ask a bartender for a water bowl and some treats.

Came in on a Tuesday at 9 pm. Got an old fashioned with basil hayden and 2 espresso martins. Wanted some food but Only have food Wednesday-Saturday. Brendan had great customer service. Definitely have to come back on a Friday or Saturday. Great lounge with good drinks

Coming to Marlow was a highlight of my trip to Austin!!! A really gorgeous oasis from the grodiness of the rest of 6th St. But the real gem was the bartender Brendan! He was so sweet and personable, and my friend and I ended up nixing our plans to bar hop and go somewhere else afterwards because we were having such a good time hanging out and chatting with him and Andrew(? I think the other bartender's name was?) I was unsuccessful in getting my other friends together to join me for a return trip, but I wanted to go back so badly that I almost dragged my octogenarian great aunt and uncle there the day before I left. It's probably just as well that didn't work out either, but honestly this place has such a stylish, upscale lounge vibe, that I feel like adults of any age can enjoy it, as long as you go when it's not too busy.

All in all, 10/10 would (and do) recommend!

Security guard gave us a hard time about playing the piano because it was near the bathrooms. The bar was dead at 1 am.

Cool little place, the drink menu was lacking but I stayed because I ended up making friends with someone at the bar.

So glad I found it on a rainy Tuesday night. Lovely space and friendly service. Only had a beer but I will definitely be back to try the food truck.

Loved this bar! Such a great vibe. My friends and I agreed it was so well put together, clean, and cozy! I worked with the owner, Mike, to host a casual birthday party gathering on Feb 1, 2025. One of my friends is a DJ who has played there before so we set something up between 6 and 9pm on Saturday and it turned out great! The fact there was a food truck outside, great weather, and fun vibe inside made it a fab place for 40+ of my friends to gather for a few hours of good tunes, dancing, drinks, and cake! I really appreciate Mike working with me to make it a special event. I pulled together a fun cocktail menu with cute names for already known drinks (i.e., The Last Word with gin or mezcal, Ranch Water, and a Green Tea shot) that they allowed me to place on the bar top and I brought a cake and some cupcakes. Some of my out of town friends mentioned they'd stop there again when they are back in town. A refreshing experience in an area of 6th that many (well many in my age group) don't think about frequenting.

It was easy to park on the street or nearby convention center garage too! I look forward to going there again soon.

Great cocktails right at the end of 6th street west of 35.
