This was some of the best ramen I’ve ever tried! Make sure to join the waitlist before getting to the location, there’s a long wait and there’s no other waiting area other than outside. Service was great. Overall a great spot for good ramen!

I was not a fan of my vegetable ramen, as it was essentially a mix of broth, noddles (both quite tasty) with a fresh garden salad with tomatoes, peppers and onions. Hm. But if only for that, I would not have bothered to write this review because this is purely a matter of taste. Two big things that stand out in a negative manner: (1) eggs - they are not ramen eggs, marinated with jammy yolk, they are standard soft boiled eggs, on the runny side. I have never been to a ramen place that doesn't serve ramen eggs. (2) Tomatoes were refrigerated. That changes their consistency and flavor significantly. A decent restaurant should never serve refrigerated tomatoes in dishes where they are not cooked first.

This is a great spot with excellent service and a lovely ambiance. The broth in the ramen is truly top-notch, and the meat was consistently soft and juicy. We highly recommend the Marufuku Spicy Wings!
We tried the Hakata Tonkotsu and Chicken Paitan and Paitan DX bowls. The main suggestion we have is to balance the portions—there were too many noodles relative to the little meat and veggies. I also found the chicken leg in the Paitan DX slightly too sweet, but that was a personal preference. Price was fair for the quality.

My favorite Ramen in Austin. I go for the Tonkotsu DX - solid choice that always leaves me satisfied.

Currently the best ramen in austin. Tatsu-ya sadly feel off years ago and it took me way too long to find this place.
My one gripe is parking is not validated its discounted through a qr code thats printed and taped to the door which i don't fully understand. Its needlessly confusing but thats more of a mullar issue.

This ramen restaurant is absolutely amazing! The noodles are perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and honestly the best I’ve had anywhere in Texas. The broth is rich, the toppings are fresh, and every bowl tastes like it was made with real care. The service is friendly, the place is clean, and the food comes out hot and delicious every time.
If you’re a ramen lover—or even if you’re trying it for the first time—this is definitely the spot to go. Highly recommended!

Taste good, a variety of toppings are also good and soup is hot!
Mediocre ramen, lots of MSG as I feel very thirsty afterwards. Also do NOT order drinks here - it looks tasty on the menu but actually just a store bought bottle with a ton of added sugar.

I dont like to eat with dogs next to me
A hit for the whole family. Little kids love the chicken karaage in the kids meal. Older kids love the chicken ramen, I love the veggie ramen and my husband says the chicken px plate + both is one of the best meals and deals in mueller. Food is always served quickly and service is always very attentive.

Conflicted because the Ramen is great but the service is awful! Need to find a new ramen spot. The bartender clearly hates life, her job, me and everything else that currently or has ever existed.
Over rated and hyped.
Great interior. Clean. Loud inside.
Great service
Disappointing food. Small selection. Broth game is a choice of one basically, and not amazing. That said, the food quality was good.

If you're searching for the best ramen in the Austin area, look no further. This spot has quickly become our goto destination for authentic Japanese ramen, and I can't recommend it enough.
We stumbled upon this ramen shop during a fantastic BOGO special, and since then, we haven’t stopped going back. It was a delightful find, and the allure of delicious ramen keeps drawing us in.
One of the standout features of this place is the fair portion sizes for the price. You won't leave feeling unsatisfied, and the value for the quality you receive is exceptional.
The food here is incredibly authentic, and the ambiance complements the experience perfectly. It’s probably the most genuine representation of Japanese ramen you’ll find in the area. From the decor to the background music, everything feels like a little slice of Japan.
Typically, the service is fast, allowing you to enjoy your meal without long waits. This efficiency adds to the overall positive experience, especially when you’re craving that hot bowl of ramen.
We usually opt for the Hakata Tonkotsu, and it never disappoints. The chashu is incredibly tender, melting in your mouth with every bite. The broth is rich and flavorful, reflecting the depth of traditional tonkotsu preparation. It has that perfect balance of umami, and each slurp brings a wave of comfort. The noodles are cooked to perfection, adding just the right texture to the dish.
Overall, I would rate this ramen spot a solid 9.5/10. It’s a must-visit for anyone in the Austin area looking for authentic ramen. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place deserves a spot on your culinary map.
