Low quality, inauthentic, extremely high in sodium and oil ramen. We couldn’t even eat half of what we got. Besides this, they tried to charge us for 3 ramen bowls, when we had only two. The waitresses were very rude and not only did they not care to apologize for the mistake, but acted as if we were in the wrong for pointing out their mistake? Strange service.

Although a little on the pricey side, the flavors are well worth it. The large 1 room aspect of this restaurant makes it very loud when many tables are full so try to go during less busy times if you want to hear others at your table.

Best Ramen I've had. The broth had a lot of depth, very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Leaves a good aftertaste on the pallet. Noodles were a good thickness and texture. The service was okay. Didn't give a hospitable vibe. That said, I've been back three times in the three weeks since I discovered this place. They've been consistent with food, service and atmosphere all three visits.

The food was good but not something I went crazy about. The service wasn't good for a first-timer. Delay on drinks to the point that we were halfway through with the food, and their popular item was out at 4 pm!

This place was overall just amazing. The service is really great, the food is insanely great, the atmosphere was great. The broth in the ramen is addictive and the hot chasu buns on the happy hour menu, those are just amazing. I definitely recommend this place and you should get the tonkatsu ramen ( DX or regular) and the buns on the happy hour menu . Amazing!

My husband and i were really excited to try this place since the reviews said it was amazing. The service was really good and the food isn’t bad at all but it was just pretty basic. The egg in the ramen wasn’t even soy marinated which was disappointing and the gyoza tasted weird like it was reheated. Probably won’t be back but glad that we gave it a try.

Great food and even better service! Genuinely impressed by Austin standards! I’ve always been let down by Austin ramen options because they don’t taste even a fraction as good as ramen in other American cities like SF, NYC, or even Houston. But Marufuku had excellent food. We got the chicken buns, chicken karaage, and the spicy tantanmen. Everything was so flavorful, delicious, and hot. And we got all of our food (for 3 people) in under 10 minutes of waiting. Highly recommend!

Loved this place… I stumbled upon it since I was staying at a hotel nearby and wanted some comfort food. I read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed at all. The ramen is so tasty and the chicken leg that comes with the DX was delicious! I also tried the Marufuku bites with pork inside and they are absolutely amazing. Don’t hesitate try it out!

Steamed buns were awesome I had to order more. Not a big ramen eater, but my bowl was empty! Love the soft boiled egg, perfection. Nice are that you can walk around after eating. Austin is fortunate to have this gem.

Y’all very lucky to have ISABEL. Put respect on her name. I’m very picky & indecisive. I told her where I usually go get ramen. Described my type of Ramen. She said I got you. I didn’t even read the menu. I trusted her judgement & she did not fail me. When she brought my Ramen. I ended up eating 2 bowls. This place actually makes chicken broth not like other places that make it out of Pork. Then they lie saying it’s “chicken broth”. Thank you ISABEL for your kindness. You gave me an excellent service. First time at this restaurant. Will be back again!

This was my 2nd time visiting Marufuku, and it was SO good. Loved the Japanese fried chicken appetizer. Ordered the Chicken Paitan Ramen for lunch, and the broth is the best I've ever had. I got a medium spice level, and it was just right. Our server was very sweet and helpful. Definitely will be back. Great comfort food!Parking: The waitress informed us that they have a free 2 hour parking garage across the street if you are dining at Marufuku. We parked in a neighborhood and walked about 10-15 minutes to the Farmers Market then Marufuku.Kid-friendliness: There were several babies and children dining today.
