Excellent food and drinks, wonderful atmosphere
Great service and food was incredible. Sauce was spicy.
Love Matt’s! A local staple! Can get crowded with big groups so be prepared to wait, otherwise such a fun place!
Very tasty Guisada
Everything is always tasty.
Excellent wait staff.
A must stop in Austin w tons of options!
Kinda loud but that also means it’s crowded with people that also love their delicious food and drinks.
Horrible experience. Severely overpriced. Pastor quesadilla was like eating leather and gristle/fat. Waitress was very rude. No separate checks. Margaritas and cheese dip were the only saving grace. No thanks. Never again.
Matt's remains king of Mexican food in

Honestly I got disgusted by the fact they r serving tap filtered water(this is what the waitress claimed!!) Tap Filtered water is used for the body not drinking!! They also use it in there sodas! We are paying for it use the right bottled water!! Food small serving for the price!

Tacos al carbon “fajita style” is the move. Depending on sever they may just bring out onions and peppers on a side plate. Regardless this is the order!!!

Great place to have some full-flavour Tex-Mex food in a cool setting with a nice buzzing atmosphere.
Food was great. Has the Asadero, Al Pastor and Fish Tacos. All delicious.
Definitely with a visit when in Austin.

It’s a classic Austin retro machine - assembly line handles the overpopulation of Austin incredibly well. Hundreds of people rushing and pushing from the parking lot to the lines inside .. yet the servers were elegant and the food continues to be great as it has for decades.
