The service was so slow on a Tuesday afternoon between 2pm and 3pm when there was hardly anyone else there. The waiter sat a few tables away on his cell phone while we waited with one other table to get service and our check. I had to get up from our table to ask for the check. It was unacceptable service especially for an empty day. We will not be back, very disappointing lunch.

Visited Austin this past week, and this was the best restaurant I went to my entire trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the Texas style enchiladas- so delicious. Everything was great right down to the chips and salsa. Service was mid because it was so busy even at lunchtime on a weekday. But overall a great experience.

Food is mediocre, we waited for 35 minutes for an order of a dinner plate + 2 kids meals.

The chips and salsa are a treat. I had enchiladas with chili con carne. They were incredible. Everyone enjoyed their food.

had dinner at Maudie’s Milagro and it was a delightful Tex-Mex treat. The enchiladas verdes with roasted tomatillo sauce were bright and flavorful, and the Carne Guisada plate was hearty and comforting. Their chips & salsa were fresh and addictive — nice crisp on the chips, bold flavor in the salsa.

The place has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere — casual décor, warm lighting, and plenty of local charm. The servers were attentive and happy to chat about their recommendations. All in all, it’s a go-to for solid comfort food with genuine Texas flavor.
