The food was amazing - the nicely sour spongy bread, curries and veggie dishes, and especially the traditional coffee.
The service felt like we were guests in their home, so warm and welcoming. The hostess served us coffee and popcorn in the traditional way, which felt like a performance. We sat in special space, immersed in incense and the smoke & smell of freshly roasted coffee, sitting on traditional stools and chatting after the meal. A very memorable experience!

Great food great prices. I had the vegetarian sampler and a bottle of wine. The atmosphere is similar to a diner, the store was fun to browse. Definitely worth checking out for some yummy food.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan and meat options, great for a mixed party.

Dietary restrictions: Injera is made from teff and so it is gluten-free, very yummy, with a very nice texture you don't often get with gluten-free.

I've always appreciated the friendly service here. My wife especially loves the welcoming atmosphere. However, there are a couple of issues that have been affecting our overall experience.

Firstly, the cleanliness of the restaurant needs improvement. Every time we visit, there are many flies everywhere, which is quite off-putting. A cleaner environment would significantly enhance the dining experience.

Secondly, the way how credit card charges are handled is problematic. After making a purchase, our card shows a pending transaction for about a week, which then gets canceled because no action is taken by the owner. Then, after months later, our account is suddenly charged. This delay and unpredictability makes it difficult to keep track of customer's spending. Should adopt a more timely approach to processing transactions, like other Marts.

The food was super delicious! We had the yellow lentils and veggie platter and everything had so much flavor! The injera was especially delicious and we couldn't get enough of it. The best part? You can buy some fresh injera or spices in the attached market.We're surprised it wasn't busier than it was but it was nice to have a quiet meal :)

Amazing service and very very kind hearted staff! They made us feel very welcome and they were very patient and kind. They made sure to accommodate to our food restrictions and allergies. They even stayed after hours so we can stay a bit longer. As well as very good food!

This place is authentic Ethiopian cuisine. It was fresh and had great flavor. My partner and I both had the Veggie Combo, which was good. The injera was very fresh. Added bonus they have Ethiopian beer and wine! It is attached to a mart, which also sells the Ethiopian beers which was good to know.
