The Strawberry matcha latte, cold brew slushy, banana pudding matcha latte, and cereal milk latte were sooo good. The line was long but went by fast. Pricing for these drinks were on the higher end since we subbed regular milk for alternative options. Would come back again!
It was over a 100 degrees the other day and I was craving an iced Americano. I have been drinking hot and iced Americanos for years and know a good one from a not-so-good one. I was in the Triangle and decided to give Merit's a try. The coffee was so disappointing. It was weak and bitter, kind of sour actually. I drank a few sips and threw it away. I should have asked the barista to remake it or gotten something else but didn't have time so I doubt I'll ever go...
Great coffee in a great part of town. The only down side is that the baristas are typically a little too busy to acknowledge customers in line right away and you can usually guarantee that you won't find seating inside. But if you need great coffee to go and you're not in a hurry, then this is the place for you.
