We stumbled upon this patisserie after our huge BBQ lunch; we need some coffee to wake us up. The place is colorful, inviting, and had a lot of fancy pastries to order. They served tea in proper teapot and nice cups and saucers.
Came here for the first time and received zero greetings or eye contact from the lady up front. She was too busy doing paper work and didn't even acknowledge our presence. When asked questions about the sweets, she would rudely give one-worded answers while still looking down at her paperwork. The cupcakes were good, but her mannerisms have deterred us from revisiting or recommending to friends.
This obsession started with a cake eating contest.
Im not a cake eater.
But I had been to many events where she had custom cookies, pastries, dessert boards and i loved all those but never tried her cake.
I joined the contest because i dont mind humiliation.
The cake was so delicious and moist.
I won the contest and the prize was a small cake of my choosing

Oh my goodness! From the tasting day to the delivery of our daughter's wedding cake - it was beyond PERFECT! Thank you for creating the best 4-layer cake with 4 different flavors. It was loved by all and it added so much elegance to our daughter's reception!

We used Michelle's Patisserie's for our wedding and the cake was FANTASTIC! We had the lemon with lemon curd and it was a hit! We worked with Sam and she was super helpful during the ordering process. She even let us try out a bunch of different options prior to deciding! We highly recommend Michelle's Patisserie's!

Excellent pastries! Probably my favorite bakery in Austin right now. If you go to the Liberty Hill location, the ham sandwich is a must! Highly recommend this spot!

Yummy cake!! Michelle's Patisserie was easy to work with and provided us with fantastic cake. We chose Lemon Lovers and Tiramisu as our cake flavors, and they were delicious! The cake decorations were exactly what we envisioned.

Super cute patisserie with friendly staff and delicious coffee and sweet treats!
I ordered cupcakes and cake toppings and wanted to eat there. The lady at the counter told us that you should take it home and have it due to the frosting or something. . It was only when we got home, we realized they were frozen and needed time to thaw. Very disappointed and feel completely ripped off. Will never go back.
We had English Tea for our 32nd anniversary. Excellent service, cute decor. Wonderful selection of hot teas and yummy treats. They made special vegan treats for my husband! Above and beyond accommodating!
I needed a gluten free cake for our wedding - my husband and I had done quite a few gluten free tastings, but they all tasted dry and off somehow. We found Michelle’s Patisserie I think through another bride on here and I’m so happy we did! We actually had our tasting in-person with Michelle and she was so attentive and thoughtful in how she approached decorating and making our cake. The other tastings we had, they literally just set up to-go boxes for us and we had to eat it on our own, with no explanation of the cake or suggestions of filling/cake pairings, or anything. That’s why we loved Michelle’s because we really got the cake tasting experience AND the gluten free was so tasty, not dry or flaky. You couldn’t even tell it was GF. We did classic almond, and honey lavender flavors. We had multiple guests get multiple pieces and said it was so good! We kept the top tier and I’m super excited to eat it again in a year.
We ordered a 3 tiered strawberries and cream butter cream wedding cake and it looked fantastic! They delivered the cake to the event flawlessly. We were, however, disappointed with the taste of the cake. We had a cake tasting and chose the cake based on the flavor. The main issue I have with the cake was that there were hardly any strawberries! When the cake was cut and a lot of the middle frosting was revealed, I could see how sparse the strawberries were distributed within the frosting. When you got frosting, cake, and strawberries in one bite it was awesome, but the infrequency of those ideal bites was frustrating. We paid a lot for our cake, so maybe my expectations were too high. Photos below to show how amazing the cake looked!
